We all need to calm down, becoming butthurt and revealing personal information about people is something only 16 yr old girls do. lets be glad none of THATS going on in here, am i right?
I’m trying to show you how annoying it is. When we call ourselves Americans, we have people from South America screaming that they are Americans too.
When we say we are from America (meaning the country) they lose their shit.
It’s frustrating.
Sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about.
this was a statement to the whole group not directed at you, sorry i think i clicked reply instead of post.
Its my fault he knows your young yes.
Being ignorant is all you buddy.
But there is no country called [America][1].
But personaly I have nothing agiainst USA citizens calling themselves simply Americans. But they should be understanding towards South Americans, because they ARE technically Amricans.
[1]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas
Am I to assume this is in defense of your lover?
This is a reference to the irony of the subject in question.
fault*
I wasn’t ignorant, i knew that in certain places, they teach that there are only 5 or 6 continents. I was just asking them which number they are taught.
I have actually no idea. I guess we are taught 7. It is long since the geography class.
America is short for the United States of America. Because if we just called our country the U.S that would be unfair towards the United States of Mexico.
People have been referring to the U.S.A as America since it’s founding.
No they are SOUTH Americans. Two continents exist North America, and South America. America refers to the United States of America.
You want to open that can of worms?
You have more spelling and overall grammatical errors then anyone in the group, as well has a huge misunderstanding of semantics.
If you need I will go from post one to your most recent catalog each and every minor error.
What makes you think I was talking of that instance exclusively?
North and South America are not considered a super continent its considered the Americas. Notice the S at the end, making the word plural. meaning 2 not 1. Edit: since we are all being Grammar nazis, plural simply means more then one. Not specifically 2 words, but more then one. So we know for fucking certain there are more then one, meaning that there cant be one, meaning there can be as many as you can think of, but there is no chance there isnt less then 2.
I was taught in an American public school that its a super continent derived of two subcontinents North and South.
They say “Americas” because referring to a super continent as Super America is fucking silly.
Incorrect, that goes to @TheDivineInfidel.
I’m afraid not my good sir. You took an issue with the wording of my statement, how ever the wording was sound. Your opinion does not equal fact.
Because @TheDivineInfidel called me " an ignorant youth", then a few posts later you call me ignorant.
'
I " drew a conclusion "
No, I took issue with the false IMPLICATIONS of your wording.
Of course not but we were not debating my opinion we were debating the fact of the matter.
Were you totally oblivious to how many of my points were liked by both @snejdarek and @TheDivineInfidel? this is not because of some conspiracy against you its because you were wrong.
*does
I still caught it before you edited so it counts.
this isnt Instagram, number of likes dont matter, it means they share the opinion and or agree with the statement. Factual or not we can never be sure because obama is a space lizard and nazi socialists control the government.
Clearly you had an issue with my wording.
You say my wording implied that guns were culturally significant to the U.S as a whole.
Well you could say that.
How ever you could also say that i implied there are gun cultures within the United States.
The latter is what i actually implied.
At first we were debating how wide spread gun culture was in the U.S. You claimed it was centralized in the deep South, and the Mid West. I countered this by point out the fact that, it is wide spread in the Western states as well.
We then started arguing about what i implied by my statement, or you were arguing that my statement implied something, without me actually implying it.
"guns are very much a cultural thing in the U.S"
What I implied by this statement, is that there are gun cultures in the U.S
You clearly were oblivious. I went back and checked, and @snejdarek only liked the post with the Joel Olsteen quote, because it was funny as hell.
@TheDivineInfidel did like a few of your posts 2 by my count. How ever both of them stayed out of our argument for the most part.
I only thought that for a brief moment during our argument. I thought perhaps you and @TheDivineInfidel were both pulling my leg. But is it really that unreasonable to think that? This is the Troll cave after all.
Again i’m starting to think neither of us were. I think it was just a misunderstanding between both of us.
Ahaha good one, ill give you that.
But remember I’m a human, i make mistakes.
I only corrected your posts to be a lil bitch, i wasn’t trying to start anything by it.
