So it’s a tax? You pay up to the state run media, or the government arrests, or fines you. Sounds like something Hitler would do.

Yeah, we have plenty of those.

So the money does technically go to the government. Who then uses the funds to run a state run unbiased media (sarcasm).

in a sense yes , the BBC actually is far more left wing than the government , its biased in many cases yes (even though by law its not allowed to be ) but not towards the government , normally towards the left wing

So you basically pay taxes to a left wing propaganda station? Sounds lovely…

isnt it just

our government is set to announce we are going to purchase 138 F35’s ,

the aim is to ensure we have the second most potent carrier force after the US .

at least we seem to actually be waking up to the fact we need more than 4 planes  there was a big worry in the UK that we was not even going to purchase enough to fill our carriers (they can hold about 40 jets each ) but this seems to suggest we will indeed fill the carriers up , not with 40 on each however as we will also have helicopters on board , appache’s , wild cats , merlins and Chinook’s so that it can deal with any operation . exactly how many jets the navy will get will be the next question , and the rest would go to the RAF

things look positive , lets just hope the F35 is sorted out . it seems to be finally coming together . as well as our typhoons being massively upgraded with the brimestone being fitted to them for Air to ground attack as well as someother additions designed to bring it up to next gen level without building a new jet from scratch .

the brimestone is designed to take out a swarm of tanks and other vehicles all at once , seriously deadly missile

russian carrier design . i doubt they could afford to build it at this moment in time however

one for after the sanctions i would think

That’s really stupid. It would make sense in a place with wide roads and no congestion, not a London city centre.

That’s where you need a car that can go over curbs and pathwalks or gently push whichever driver doesn’t get the memo that it’s time to get the fuck out of the way.

(These are medic-driver + doctor combo, the other medic follows in ambulance with stretcher)

One for after the US shale gas runs out.

Czech Republic just committed its anti-chemical warfare unit to any potential land invasion of Syria/Iraq.

We have paramedics on motorbikes here , so normally a bike will turn up first then followed by a regular ambulance if needed .

as well as a helicopter of course but thats only used if its really serious and there is somewhere to land of course

The airport was closed, so we went to the hills after all. Really nice on the dry sections, with a lot of caution on the snowy ones. It was a good day.

“There are now occasions throughout the country where the possibility of
getting somebody there within 50 minutes is more likely.”

Sounds like a good place to hit.
