but a terrorist doesnt hit a sleepy village with a couple of old couples living in it , they hit the big city centres to create maximum effect .
here we have armed police on standby and would be on scene within minutes , as well as our CCTV system which would allow us to coordinate our forces to correct area ensuring the attack was contained and they did not escape like in paris .
also the CCTV helps to ensure our response is drilled and effective and not just a load of headless chickens running around not having a clue where the shooters are
Along side the CCTV we have an ANPR system which reads your number plate and flags you up if you are wanted , stolen car , no road tax , no insurance etc they can also use it to track a certain car right across the country , so using CCTV to get a fleeing cars plate they would be able to track that fleeing car anywhere in the country as basically all main-roads have these cameras every few miles . the car could then be blocked off .
alongside this , we have the most highly trained counter terrorism unit on the planet (the SAS Counter Revolutionary Warfare wing ) alongside these we also have now 10,000 crack troops on standby to assist the police .
alongside all this we have the worlds most experienced counter terrorism intelligence units , who for decades traced the IRA , the threat of attack is nothing new to the UK we have been dealing with it long before 9/11
i have the up most confidence in my countries ability to keep its inhabitants safe . rather than worrying about the UK , you should concentrate on your own countries ability to deal with such an attack . your police are your LAST line of defence , the gunman shouldnt even be able to get to the point of launching an attack , he should be stopped while he is still planning the attack

Actually if I were a terrorist,that is what i would do next. 4 attacks at the same time in distant locations, with a plan for quick relocation to other places. That could easily lead to 12-16 places being hit during one afternoon.
Effect? No matter where you live, no matter how unimportant or distant, anyone may be targeted. Be it on their farmstead at home or in a little church in a distant village.YOu think you are safe cause you don’t live in the city centre? Think again.

its impossible to have 100% security at 100% of locations in ANY country . so you put your assets close to the most likely targets , you dont place your assets defending 4 people in a village in fuckknowswherevile .
3 attacks at large strategic locations are far better than 12 at pointless locations that will do nothing other than a fear effect .
there was a reason they chose the world trader centre .
there was a reason they chose the night and location of an international European friendly in paris
there was a reason they attacked the London underground and transport system
there was a reason they attacked the pentagon .
and so on . all are high profile targets . they create economic chaos , general chaos and of course fear . there is a strategy to what they are doing , it is not as random as you think . this is by no means to say you are safe in your sleepy village , you are not but you are far far far less likely to be a victim to an attack in your neighbourhood .
footage of the world trade centre burning and falling down are far more dramatic and attention grabbing than a plane going into some old ladies cottage , or simply blowing the plane out of the sky .
take the russian plane and compare the media coverage for that with the coverage of paris .

Well the pilot is most certainly dead now. Footage has been released of them shooting at him while he descended towards the ground in his parachute.
