Hmm i would think they would need to wear something pretty heavy to protect against a .762. Seems like it would be a pain in the ass, why not arm them with an SBR instead, if they’re worried about them getting attacked?
This guy usually has good videos, and they usually get a lot of likes. But when ever he rips up socialism or Bernie Sanders, all these ass hats who aren’t even subs swarm and down vote the video without addressing his arguments.

Well if they are going to be wearing bullet proof vests with heavy plates in them, why not just give them a fire arm? It would be easier for them to do their jobs with a gun in the vehicle, then running around with a heavy vest on.
Well they can choose to have some as any other civilian, but otherwise it makes sense why police have guns and doctors have bandages, doesn’t it?
They still need to rush towards a place where an active incident is happening the same as cops, just that cops are there to shoot the bad guys while EMTs are there to provide aid to those who need it.

I suppose so, it was only a thought i had. But i think i would rather have a gun in a situation like that over body armour.

I saw a guy with UZI at the range tonight. Couldn’t resist but to ask him to let me shoot it.
Unexpectedly, it turned out not only to be my first time with UZI, but also first time shooting full-auto.
@sirwarriant Yesterday’s Walking Dead episode included one of the main chars shooting CZ 83. Seems like someone likes their CZs in the production of this series.

How was it?
Has that show gotten any better? I stopped watching it after the third season.
Compared to what? It seemed unbelievably heavy compared to Scorpion, given it’s size it felt even heavier than vz.58 which is a full size assault rifle. (This was the first version original UZI which had previously served in IDF - we get a lot of ex-IDF guns imported for civilian use in the Czech Republic).
The owner said he just bought it and was surprised how accurate it is, but my attempt at 18 metres ended with couple of shots being just left of head. Not that I was aiming with too much care, I just wanted to try it. But definitely, absolutely no recoil.
EDIT: vz.58 is 2,9 kg, UZI is 3.7 kg. Taking that into consideration I don’t understand what appeal UZI should have, shooting underpowered 9mm from relatively large, but still not full size extremely heavy gun. Vz.61 Skorpion that served similar role is just 1,3 kg.
This season was absolutely amazing, but yesterday’s mid-season finale was abhorrent shit. Really a letdown after such a great season.

How was shooting full auto for the first time? Was it more fun then semi?
Ive recently heard a lot of praise about Scorpions, my Father is getting some kind of fire arms license, i think its for full autos, he mentioned he wouldn’t mind getting one of those.
Really? That’s weird everyone always goes on about how much recoil uzis have. Several people have actually been killed from the recoil on them.
Hmm, might have to watch it then. I’m waiting for all my others shows to add a new season, that’s the only bad thing about netflix you finish shows so fast and you have to wait.

I wouldn’t know if it wasn’t for the sound. Really no recoil. I shot just a couple rounds though.
The shitty deal is that due to the US import laws you get them as “pistols” even though they were never meant to be really used without the stock. It’s half the fun without it.
Maybe Mini-Uzis. But this thing having 4 kilos loaded, I can’t even imagine heavier 9mm gun. Maybe as a SciFi movie prop, but not in real life. So it’s got enough weight to tame all of the recoil.

To be honest, I don´t know when we will put the video online, maybe not today anymore, but we don´t want to let you wait longer then necessary.
Shooting would also be interesting. I haven´t shoot a gun like for 10 years now when I was in the army. Is it possible for me to go to the range and test out some different guns? Like next spring or something?
I can take you along, though I still owe a visit torange to @prokybrambora first when I think about it. Or you can just call in advance to any range and book a time with instructor. Indoor ranges in Prague centre allow handguns/hangun calibres only, so if you want to shoot somthing larger you need to drive out of town though.
How’s your Czech going? With a little effort you can get a license and buy guns yourself.
