Didn’t see it before, but the fact that the EU wants to confiscate these guns is disturbing. They have no real motive for it, so perhaps they have a darker plan behind it.

i agree with @snejdarek partly here and also you partly .

clearly the response from the US security services was top class and they ended it quickly after they escaped and a million times better than the french response , i would like to think the UK would respond to similar standards and speed to the US response and am confident in this .

lets be honest the US police are pretty experienced in dealing with mass shootings :wink:

HOWEVER . in paris the attackers opened fire on a crowed of 400+ inside a compact theatre with very powerful automatic weapons , i would safely bet 9/10 rounds fired into that crowed hit someone .

where as in California the situation was alot different

Yeah this is true, SWAT in large cities are very experienced and most have had to fire their weapons. Being a cop in America is far more dangerous then any other first world nation.

Agreed, but i think we can both agree that had this happened in France the death toll would have been much higher.

What do you think about the suspects? Do you think it was a terror attack? I mean 3 Arabs, all Muslims one from Qatar, one went to the middle east for a year. They planned they attack in advance, had full tactical gear, ect.

Yeah, i would assume so. London based on what you’ve shown me is swarming with response units equipped to handle this. So the response time would probably be even quicker.

That is questionable in Paris scenario. There were 4 places hit by 4 team in quick succession, all of them being soft targets (maybe apart from the stadium). That is when having each cop armed and each patrol car with heavy gear makes a difference. You can send specialized teams only to a few locations at the same time.

Considering that France has 8.000 radicalized Muslims that pose immediate danger of terrorist attack, it is easy to imagine 20, 25 simultaneous attacks by group of two. If those go after soft targets (which is everyone in France because can carry - not even off duty cops) then police response time may be 3 hours for those less fortunate even within the city itself.

The EU committee of Czech Parliament just issued a statement that basically tells the prime minister to tell the EU to go fuck themselves.

It verbatim says that “The Committee rejects the European Commission’s persecution of Member States and law abiding citizens through limiting their right to be armed as a response to terrorist attacks in Paris.”

Valid point, U.S police are armed with m16s shot guns along with their pistols of course, so they present a very formidable threat to the shooters before SWAT arrives.

I think it depends on how many armed response unites London has. I would assume after Paris the number would have increased significantly.

vz.58s in armories - but they are almost all replaced by newer guns now. You see them only when there is some shitstorm and they need to give assault rifle to the every last office cop. But hey, Czech army used them in Afghanistan until 2013, so they should be good enough on the street too.

Standard police cars have typically some of these:
Scorpion EVO 3s

HK MP5s (this one is actual Czech patrol car configuration)

HK MP7

HK G36

Fabarm shotguns (again actual Czech patrol car configuration)

Czech customs officers have full auto AR 15s in 9mm. Couldn’t find full auto pic, so here goes semi auto at least.

Our police are required to wear body cams in recent years due to police brutality, it has actually done quite a bit in terms of catching the corrupt cops.

Lol, so according to Obama and the media the shooting was simple work place violence because the poor man was triggered by the Christmas party. Simple work place violence yet they had pipe bombs body armour assault weapons and more ready to go in their car. Their neighbours said they were acting suspiciously for days but they didn’t report them because they didn’t want to be labelled as “racist”.

So now political correctness is costing people their lives.

The left was also completely lying a few minutes after the shooting saying that the shooters were white Republicans. Now that they’ve been reported as Muslims, the media has gone silent.

if they have any brains they wont hit london they will hit some where like . Glasgow or Cardiff . thats my big worry , im not sure how well equipped they’re in terms of numbers , i would assume alot less than london as by simply logic , london being the capital is the primary target

our biggest asset is what you dont see , our intelligence service gets zero credit for the amazing job they do behind the scenes . and in my mind there is NO way such an attack would get through the net . it would require to much logistics , communication to organise and execute .

its the simple attacks they get through like the husband and wife picking up guns and letting rip , its the lone wolfs which pose the danger to countries like the US , UK
