You somehow forget the say the Ukrainian people have in all of this. I think that they made it clear what they think after Yanukowitch announced that he will back off from EU trade talks and will join the Russian economic union.

Using your logic my country would be still bound by the Yalta agreement and would remain a corrupt hellhole run by communists.

And don’t tell me what I would or not would fight for. I would not go to Afghanistan, but defending Tallinn against he Russian hordes is something I would very much be ready to do. Because I understand that it is better for my family if I fight in Tallinn today than in Prague tomorrow.

Oh my god are you serious! Church hill along with Montgomery and Patton wanted an all out war with Russia. Church hill came up with operation unthinkable and Patton and Montgomery had a system so they could re arm the German army quickly to attack Russia forces or repel an invasion.

NATO is not forcing countries to join them. Russia forced those countries into the Soviet Union get that through your head. You’re making it sound like NATO is invading Russia. "Those countires can join NATO weather Russia likes it or not. Stop trying to justify this.

so as i keep saying this is a bullshit war between two very large powers fighting for influence over a country , the victims are the Ukrainians .

the solution now is a firm one , where we make it clear to russia they cannot invade eastern ukraine and if they do we will be prepared to defend ukraine .
then we need to along with russia pull forces away from ukraine . and let UKRAINE sort out its own problems among themselves
