Well then they aren’t getting to Anchorage. Some of the cities and towns in Alaska are only accessible vie tunnel or bridge through or over a mountain range.

Maybe if it were Britain people would cower in their house but this isn’t Britain. Theres several large militia groups in Alaska and the citizens wouldn’t let Russian troops tramp through their land without a fight. The police wouldn’t tell anyone to cower in their homes they would be to busy dealing with Russian troops. Furthermore America has a militia system so the people would be backed by the constitution for defending their homes from invaders.

Thats a good one. These aren’t gentle little streams. They’re several hundred meters across and are Usually surrounded by steep cliffs.

They’re trained in an Arctic tundra. Not this kind of Terrain. They aren’t moving in winter when theres 30 feet of snow blocking every pass and way to the cities. Not to mention a wrong step or loud noise means these Russians are crushed under hundreds of feet of snow and ice. The mountains are some of the tallest in the world. The only way they could get through the snow would be on the road ways or train tracks. Even then it would be extremely difficult.

Also do HALO jumps work in 100-200 mile an hour winds which Alaska has? Im guessing no. So you would have a bunch of Scattered troops in random places all over Alaska. Those winds will literally knock small air planes out of the sky.

Yeah that would count as taking out invading troops wouldn’t it? Lol.

There is no reason for a big passenger plane to be flying to a Random location in Alaska it simply couldn’t be done the way you’re describing it. By boat would be almost easier than what you’re saying.

then they would go over the mountain . all of the issues you’re bringing up are solved by proper planning of the route that would be taken .
thats all great and everything right but when john watches chuck accross the road get torn up by gunfire , john may just start to think "hmm maybe not " and run home , in your ideal world of everyone defending the great US yes the russians would struggle to push quickly but in the REAL world not everyone is so keen on grabbing a gun and taking on russian special forces who would make mince meat out of the local militias .
yea like i said inflatable boats . im not talking about an inflatable boat out of the toy shop im talking military grade inflatable boats that are designed to deal with such conditions .
false , they’re and the rest of the worlds special forces and pathfinding regiments are trained on all terrains in any condition . train for the worst hope for the best .
HALO jump certainly would as you dont deploy the parachute until 700ft in a HALO jump however in this situation a HAHO jump would most likely be used , which even in the best conditions would result in the units being scattered to some degree however in these types of jumps steerable parachutes are used so yes they would be scattered but they would regroup on the ground .

well of course they would aim to inflict casualties . but your idea of suddenly within 10 minutes the etire 15,000 US troops would be charging down the road is at best laughable .

they would remain in their bases for the most part and defend the bases and equipment their , they would also deploy small numbers of troops to defend certain positions such as crucial bridges . but even this would have to be planned so would take a number of hours until any troops actually left the base .

why would it have to have a destination in alaska it wouldnt even have to leave russian airspace as the shortest distance between russia and alaska is 55 miles and you can cover about 60 miles in good conditions with the wind speeds you are suggesting you could cover much more

the russians would also have the luxury of all the planning time they needed to fight this battle the US would have a matter of hours

Probably one of the most idiotic videos ive seen you post. They’re making it seem like most gun deaths are children finding guns their parents leave out, But it couldn’t be father than the truth. Over 90% of the gun murders are used by gang members to murder other gang members. Cases where children find guns are extremely rare despite what that jackass is claiming.

I love how lib tards never bring up the fact that the places where they live (gun free zones) are far more dangerous than places where you can freely own guns.
So that fact that you are 60% more likely to randomly die if you own a gun is absolute horse shit. But that fact is probably true if you own and drive a car regularly.

So these people came in that gun shop looking for protection because they live in a city where that is very limited despite high crime, and this asshole scares them off with propaganda. I hope he gets attacked one day and he’ll be defenceless and ill enjoy watching the news how the fucker who told people self-defence was wrong was stabbed to death.

They would be completely exposed above timberline and would most likely be spotted by a plane.

Underestimating militias was your ancestors undoing and the reason the U.S is a country today. Most militias are ex military, or have been shooting/hunting their entire lives. They know the land very well so that would give them the advantage as well. Again the U.S is a different country than the U.K. You’re obviously taught from birth that you have no chance against any attacker or invaded and that laying down and dying or being enslaved is the best option. That is not what we’re taught in the U.S. So if the Russians invaded the U.S they would have one hell of an insurgency to deal with.

Can inflatable boats climb sheer cliffs after going across a huge fast moving river?

So you’re saying a person gliding would not be affected by tornado speed winds?

I never said they would be charging down the road i said they would defend the areas they were already in.

Yes getting close!

jesus christ , yes in every operation their is risk of being spotted , they’re special forces , they’re trained to do the things you think " fuck off no way " .

secondly the plane would be heard and if possible they would go for cover or hit the deck , clearly you know very little of the details of these things , special forces operate in units of generally about 4-6 .

it would not be a huge line of 400 men walking through alska , they would go in small groups and achieve their units objective , if assulting a large target that is going to need more men then they meet at a location close ish to the target so that the assault can be started quickly and reduces the time they’re together in a large pack , generally the larger group would be 50 men , still quite easy to conceal ,

camouflage and discipline is key in these operations .
believe as you wish but the militias wouldn’t be an issue as large as you think and majority of the US population wouldnt become insurgents , you know it as well as i do . maybe in the deep south many would but i dont think many in say Miami , new york or Washington DC would be .

and in the UK the civilians would help out where civilians are most useful …logistics . carrying supplies and wounded from the frontline this kind of help is perfect , chuck and paul running round with their AR-15 because they have been going to the range for a few years has suddenly made them combat troops all wind up dead or running for the hill when they face a force which fires and moves as a units and they become under intense fire that does not let up at any moment .

the tactics of the taliban wouldnt work in a US city and the tactics of the terrorists  in 1776 wouldnt work
today
.
planning only jumping when its doable
I never said they would be charging down the road i said they would defend the areas they were already in.
yes of course , but for example if a US base was attacked right now by a sizeable force the base would fall because its not in a combat posture to repel such a strike , in peacetime a base in only in a position to maintain security from a terror attack or such not a fall blown strike .
on every single military base i have been on be it British or american you dont walk around with a rifle 24/7 their locked away in the armoury and when you require a rifle , you sign it out along with however much ammunition you require and you go onto sentry duty or down to the firing range or whatever

yes they can be taken apart and shared between the unit to keep the weight even then the unit walks as normal or climbs

if special forces took note of your points they would be useless they’re designed by their very nature to get in and do a task a regular unit couldnt such as attacking a target after marching through some of the worlds toughest terrain .

to even conduct in an argument of this nature you need to at least know about how special forces operate along with the rest of the miltary , you know your stuff on guns but you lack on hugely on your knowledge of combat , mission planning and just about everything else in this area , and quite frankly i think you are just replying to annoy the fuck out of me … so im not going to keep this bloody argument going  i refuse to be trolled

Again you are speaking for British people. Its clearly wired in your heads to wait for the government and that you cannot take care of yourselves. Majority of the insurgents would be ex military and i think there’s around 25 million vets in the U.S right now. Those vets could easily train civilians to fight like insurgents. Most fire arm owners have been shooting since they were five. You can Google plenty of videos of 7 year olds drilling elk at 700 yards or more. By the time these people are adults they have spent a lot of their life shooting and hunting. Most of these people end up joining the military. Im surprised you’re under estimating insurgency’s this much when you served in Afghanistan. Look at history insurgency’s have usually been successful to some degree.

The U.S has every different kind of Terrain except jungles so they wouldn’t have to fight in cities.

Winds like that are completely unpredictable.

there is no cover on the top of those mountains they would have to go above timberline. Im not saying its impossible im just saying it would be extremely difficult.

@TobiTobsen could you possibly give us a date for the video ?
