Hillary won more popular votes, but the American voting system doesn´t represent that fact. It is an Electoral College, and here Trump won. But there is nothing wrong with a democracy based on Electoral College.
You can say whatever you want about Trump, but he is the elected president.

I think the racism debate in America is very shallow and often not true. Yes, there is racism, for both sides, there are white people who are racist against black people, and there are black pleople who are racist against white people.
Racism has nothing to do with how much privileges you have or not have.
And there are far more reasons why the majority of black people have it harder in live than the majority of white people. One of it is heritage.
The black community in America are the descendants of slaves. Slaves were very poor people even after they got their freedom, and they lack on every kind of capital.
Capital doesn´t have to be money from a sociological perspective. It can be any kind of property (e.g. a house, a factory, art), it can be skills (e.g. cooking), qualification (e.g. a diploma), contacts (e.g. you are the friend of some CEO who could hire you, or you know a mechanic who fix your car for half the price). You can transform one form of capital into another form of capital. You can sell your art, or buy a house, if you are good at cooking, you may get a job in a restaurant, if you have a diploma your chances are higher to get a better paid job.
Black people are very poor in any of this forms of capital (appart from skills maybe), and they don´t have the same habitus as people who have more money. The main reason why black people are still so poor isn´t because todays world is so racist, but because they lack any capital.
The heritage is also important for the habitus, if you have rich parents, they probably were on some university too, and they will teach you how to get there and how this institution works. A poor guy with equally good skills, who is equally clever, might be lost in this environment which is strange to him, and he must learn how to behave correctly, what are the rules in this place?
Poverty leads to criminality and bad health, which leads to more poverty. And criminality leads to racism.
The reason for this is not, that people are black or white, this is just another layer.
You don´t need to have ongoing active suppression for a situation like this, it develops by itself.
That doesn´t mean that there isn´t racism, there is. On both sides.
Sharing posts on twitter don´t help the situation.
There are significant more students with norman surenames in UK universities than students with anglo-saxon surnames, compared to the rest of the country. What is this? Racism of british white people against other british white people? No, it´s the heritage, and the norman conquest of Albion or Engaland was around 1000 years ago.

I donât see anything wrong about the Parliament holding the last word regarding the final agreement. Why should the government get a free slip card?
In my country, the agreementâs passing through parliament is required by constitution. So it is in the US, if I am correct.
Look through the comments on Farrages tweet. They are hoping for a cancellation of Brexit, and are cheerfully celebrating any road block of it, even though it was democratically voted on already.
I always have this conversation with people at my work when they say Trump is Hitler. I ask them their beliefs, and how they think the nation should be governed, and they shut up fast when they realise they and their beloved Bernie Sanders are more in line with National Socialism than Trump.

Black community was doing quite well post slavery up until the 1960âs (prior to this the chance of the family sending their child to collage was actually higher than white families, and they had a lower divorce rate), when the government came in and incentiveized single motherhood through the welfare state. My ancestors were dirt poor when they came here, as were most whites.
The war on drugs has also not helped, since it causes mass incarcerations.
In the context of crime in the black community i disagree. the poorest white neighbourhood (median income 14k) in the United States has less crime than the richest black Neighbourhood (median income 165k).
Blacks commit an insanely disproportionate amount of crimes regardless of income level.

Yes, I agree 100%, and incarcerations doesn´t help the society, at least not if it is done like in the US right now. It is extremly expensive, wastes resources of working power and is harmful to get people back on the right path to become a productive member of the society again.

I know that poverty is not the only reason for crminality, but a mayor one, and average high income of 165k could mean that there is a huge gap between rich and poor people, which also benefits crime.
But a median income is way less vulnerable for statistic outliers, that means the the overall income of such a neighbourhood must be quite high, and there can´t be a majority of poor people next to a few really rich people.

Black median income in 1967 was 24,700 per year, which adjusted for inflation is 181,257 dollars in todayâs money. Now the median black income is only 43,00 dollars a year.

Another thing to add, is open borders are especially hard on blacks, since they have to deal with gang activity more, and have to compete with foreign low skill low wage workers.

The neighbourhood i am referring to is View park Windsor hills California, the area is almost exclusively inhabited by rich people.
The poorest white area is Beattyville Kentucky, and it looks like a third world country.
The isnât an isolated problem either. Blacks regardless of income, or education level, commit far more crimes than Whites, Asians or Hispanics.

The homicide rates by black people are indeed alarmingly high. What do you expect is the reason? Gang activites? Cultural habitus? Or as you suggested, family background?
Would be interesting to find correlations and causal connections. Probably a mixture of several factors.
But you can also see that income and crime, in this case homicides, does have a direct and high correlation with income. The higher the income, the less criminal activities.
