Gotta say that I’m really bummed that this (1.4.3) still doesn’t fix the screen shake/jitter on xbox one. I’ve been waiting forever to get back into it, and still can’t play the game at all. This is the WORST of the problems. Why isn’t this the top priority to fix? I’ve played for over 100 hours. It’s crazy that I would have to start a new game in order to fix this (if that even does it anyway). This needs to be a top priority. The game is still unplayable. I could care less about hair and a beard if I can’t even bear to play the game. Your reputation is taking a series of hits Warhorse.
Works fine for me!
For me (PC), my old savegames are contaminated with stutter. Patch 1.4.2 didn’t work for them, but it worked for new games.
In other words, I had to start over.
Was there not a work around for this. You pick line two or something on Xbox. And play on that. Might be think of a different work around.
Mine still shakes too. Game is completely unplayable.
As I wrote on another thread… I’m sorry, but ‘starting over’ is not a fix, in any way. After 100 hours, you think I’m going to be psyched about redoing another 100 just to get to the same place? I have a life outside of this game. They need to get it right so we can move forward… not backward.
Actually ‘the game’ is playing.
Your idea of the game is playing an overpowered character and having no challenge…?
Playing with alternaye character trying different skills etc/playstyles…
But I am guessing you kust want some trophy that you feel yoir present game is close to achieving.
Starting a new game (decades of patching rpgs tells us this is the ‘norm’) isnt too far fetched to ask - possibly you dont actually like the game- if you did- playing it wouldnt be a ‘burden’.
I understand you are now likely enraged at me for telling you what you already know.
And will have all sorts of arguments for why you are right.
Im not saying have patience or any nonsense that were prereqyisites for being allowed to post in your other thread …i do see that you will invest lots of time not playing and bemoaning that you dont want the journey-just the destination!
Not sure what could bring you happiness.
Youve declared overtly you dont want to do any work and want people around the world to focus on helping you (with the understanding you are not inclined todo anything).
If I sound affronted- I am not- I just choose to highlight that your argument is really just an argument.lets save going around in circles and just get to the end- Warhorse released a game that doesn’t work for you and they are unwilling to fix the problem for you.
If you are as patient as you make out (3 months since release is the most you could have been waiting) then you moght be a nice customer.
Sure a commercial transaction has taken place and you are inferring product is unfit for sale.
On your machine it seems to have happened that way.
There are some game issues needing sorting- a lot of which suggest a restart works well… the game is very playable for many/most now.
Is time in these forums making you feel better- more than the same time spent playing games?
Its a game- if it is causing this much pain on your life you are not a casual gamer-.
Ibget that your statement ‘I have a job’/not the time to REPLAY games…
Did you ever start a game over in your life before?
Was it because you thought it would be fun to do so. …
If you dont envision this game as fun playing- move on!
PS4 player here. The new patch didn’t fixed my old playline, the stutter is completely there. I had more than 200 hours on that playline. Started playline 2. More than 20 hours and not a single bug, not a single halberd lying on Ratay ground. I spend most of the time riding my horse like a Knight in shining armour. The game now runs smoothly like it should be. Of course I’m frustrated because I lost everything from my first playline, but I’m happy that the game is now fixed. In time I’ll have all gear from my first playline.
Few hours of gameplay and you have very good armor and sword with which you can do the rest of the game. Hint = quest killing bandits for Sasau monastry custodian. I do second playline and Im still discovering new things/places/quests I missed/messed in first gameplay. Doesnt feel like chore to restart. And it really playes kind of better now, when I finally got used to the dueling system. I cheated before with OP horse archery and shameless poaching/cooking/selling. Now I go hardcore with mace&shield. Much more fun then before. Dont be affraid to restart new game. Its worth it
Same here, not fixed…And no, I will not start whole game from the beginning.
Well, still some options to chose from
- wait for some miraculous patch
- send your save to WH to repair it
- Sue WH to reimburse your investment
this is gaming kidda. oblivion got released with more bugs than this but i dont hear you complaining about that
Agreed. I’m finally having a blast from playing the game. No rush, I’m really enjoying the game, the mechanics and the wonderful landscape. I’m the bohemian God’s Knight and punisher. Lol
Perhaps because this is a KC:D forum?
On the other hand, for a two hour movienight with the wife including transport and parking I would have payed more than the price of this game. Which I anticipate several hundreds hours in.
As others said, going back to the start has allowed me to make better choices and I am now more concerned with the world than the main quest. Great fun ahead, me thinks.
I’m in total agreement, the camera shake/ spawn axis bug is completely unbearable. The lack of a fix to this point is inexcusable and unexcepible.
Can you post evidence first? How do u expect them to fix it if we don’t see what the detail is.
There are tons of videos on youtube of the screen jitter problem. This is not some isolated incident and based on all the people posting about it everywhere that should be obvious.
This is all to benefit Warhorse, both for this game and in thier beta process in the future. You know what I see a ton of… posts by people saying “Is this game fixed yet, I want to buy it but it seems to have too many game breaking bugs”. Not being able to bear to look at the screen is a game breaking bug. All the other bugs don’t matter if you can’t stand to look at the screen.
I played all the Elder Scrolls games from day 1 and yes, there were some problems, but never a problem where I couldn’t look at the screen and never a problem where I had to start over because I had no choice. I also may not be complaining about Oblivion because it came out IN 2006! Ugh, what world are we in here?
Kirksty, you’re fast becoming one of the most annoying posters here. Seriously.
We all get that your copy (for some reason) works fine.
You must be too stupid to realise that people here are only really interested in others with the same issue and the things they have tried to fix them.
I have not seen a single post by you that has anything constructive or worthwhile to read.
So on behalf of all of us here that DO have problems…piss off. Thank you.
And stop asking people for evidence. The sheer number of people reporting the same issue is evidence enough, you absolute cretin.
Dude, you are just straight up wrong here. And you are making a lot of assumptions about me in the process. This isn’t about me, it’s about prioritizing the bug/patch process. And your weird defensiveness is just creepy. Did you write the bad code or something?
Overpowered? What are you even talking about? Being able to look at the screen does not make you overpowered. I’m for games being hard as all get-out, this is no Dark Souls and it won’t be. Again, assumptions, and you’re wrong.
There are a few must-haves in order to play a video game. Being able to bear to look at the screen is pretty much at the top. I’d also say that having to start over because it’s poorly coded is pretty damn high as well.
I’m all for an alternate experience… but i haven’t even had this one. Sure, I’ve done an alt playthrough before, but not because I was forced to!
I actually think the game is a great idea, and so many aspects of it are well thought out and executed, but again, if I can’t stand to look at the screen, it’s all a waste. Bug priority is what we are asking for. The game is ‘playing’, but kind of like how a stove is ‘baking’, but you can’t open the door to get to the cake.
I don’t want to do any work?? It’s not up to me to solve this for the developers. There isn’t any ‘work’ for me to do. I can’t get in there like the PC folk can and alter the mechanics of the game in order for my game to work. Again, there are other games in the world that I like to play, other activities that I have in life, and I shouldn’t be expected to restart 100+ hours of game time because Warhorse couldn’t get it right (and not just ‘not right’ but watchable).
This game could be a ton of fun… that’s the problem. Now just stop, you couldn’t be more wrong. You act as if I’m alone in this game breaking situation, and you know there are a ton of us that are experiencing this.
Xbox people can’t send their saves like PS4 people can.
The other option, that I’m doing, is voicing my issue here in hopes that WH will prioritize this game-breaking issue.
