WarHorse Moderators, Devs and the King Himself!

Please add the Black Hoods playable in the game, The Hoods will not show up. They have a mod on PC to correct this, But Consoles users do not have that option. Also, Add some mask. Thanks!

This is not your fantasy World that they would have hoods Like assassins or masks Like dragon priests in skyrim

You’re right, it’s set in the 1400’s…when people also wore hoods. Like the hoods already in game that can be modded to have the hood up so they are shown how they are in the trailers for the game. Also, very much like the hoods shown on the many many paintings from the period, which I’m guessing the developers got the inspiration from in the first place.

Common People did not wear hoods only some if them but that means they would need to make it looks Like t shirt with hood because the hood itself does not exist and definetly not Like helmets maybe if it would be a cape with a hood that would be possible

if you look close at all the hoods, there is a long tail on the hood which is lost in the graphics on most hoods I wear and there is a brawler in the Sasau tavern who wears his hood up. I robbed the robes off the riddler and had my hood up for like 2 seconds when I was in my inventory and then it switched to down; the ability is there, it just isn’t being implemented which hopefully will happen on a patch cuz it should; maybe darken a circle around the screen like they do with helmets to decrease visibility when it’s up but it decreases conspic and visibility for sneak purposes.

The tail was used as a scarf.

There are hoods in the game. The problem is the clipping is absolutely terrible, and rather than fix it, they chose to simply keep them down. Yes, it’s lazy, but that’s why it was done.

Ok, I get it… You don’t want hoods in the game or could care less… But the Bandits and other NPCs have hoods… I just want mine to work. Is that a bad thing?

I am sorry but in my game bandits do not wear hoods

Only some npcs and monks

But Like i said… It would have to be a complete set not just the hood Like helmet and so on it would be a complete thing

NPCS, monks the riddler and the brawler specifically, wear their hoods up with no graphical issues so idk…I’m not a programmer but I really dont see why it can’t be implemented. I get that there are far more important things to work out, which I agree with, but eventually this would be nice. I like to get into a real RP feel when I play games like this and sometimes it’d be cool to see him in cutscenes and in the inventory menu. It shouldn’t be a big deal, especially in a patch down the road

Yes, but they don’t wear coifs, mail or helms, and that’s the problem.

soooo if i didnt have any of those things it should work, but it doesnt. Also, if I wear a nobles neck coif or whatever and i put a hood on it is covered up, just elimination the graphics of the chain coif like the chain does padded would/should not be hard. Those are ridiculous reason to disallow something that was totally a thing and would not break realism/immersion at all.
It probably won’t happen, and you’re right that it’s stupid, cuz it is. Shouldn’t be apriority, but it should happen eventually

It’s not just you though, most people fill their armor slots. They would complain about how terrible the clipping is. Rather than spend time fixing it, they chose to focus on other things, and still ran out of time obviously.

If you don’t wear anything underneath the hood though, then no, there would be no clipping issues, just like the NPCs that wear them up.

What is that you dont get? It cant be made as a single peace of armor Like helmet… Aradiel you are right

Using the hood with toggle button or at least when rain and hiding a tiny upper part of the screen just to know that you wear it could be cool. Also helpful to not be recognizable when wanted <3

so why can it not be up or on toggle/available to be up until you equip any other piece and then just go down automatically? Like, I put a robe on from a riddler and the hood was up for like a second or two and then just went down; so why not make the animation cancellation happen upon the equipping of any other cranial accessory instead of just by default?

Not trying to argue, just truly wondering why they couldn’t do that; I get why it would mess up when you had a bunch of coif’s and a helmet on

It would mess up the whole thing with armors and so on

Yes, common people did wear hoods and they were indeed separate pieces of clothing. I really have no idea what you are basing any of your history on, as a 10 second browse of 15th century artwork disproves all of your arguments.

I have been using the hood mod for a while and the clipping is a minor annoyance at worst with a coif underneath and something that should be fairly fixable. Helmets are a little worse for clipping but still not game-breaking by any means. Just look at pictures of the mod which uses the hood up model already present in game. Honestly, I have no idea what the argument against this is. It started out as an attempt to bash “fantasy” requests and is now just vague and completely baseless “It would mess up the whole thing with armors and so on”.

If, like me, you are playing a character who isn’t required to be armoured; the hood up mod is perfect for you until WH officially fix the clipping.

Like I said, time. They chose the easy way out for time. I think a toggle is a great idea. I’d also like to see a similar thing for visors on helms. Or at least some consistency in cutscenes. Some show no helm. Some show it. Sometimes within a few moments of each other. It’s just not a priority right now though unfortunately.
