Warhorse what is going on?

So it’s 5 days from patch 1.4 relese, we dont have any answers on main chanels like forum or steam about courrent game breking bug in Pestilence / Questions and Answers quests. Why ther is no respons from developer about that crusial bug? Is it not developer duty to inform why ther is no patchfix and when we gona get it ?

Not with WH, just a backer, but I can tell you that the test machine on their backend updated to a new build this morning. So, they’re working on it. Fingers crossed that a new update will be coming soon…hopefully bug-free.

To your other point, I agree it would be nice to have more official feedback and updates from WH. Radio silence doesn’t inspire confidence.

According to the twitter Dan Vavra and Lead Artist are doing some “field research” (read “hiking”)

You know what it’s like when the boss is not in the office

Releasing a big patch like 1.4 without proper testing and vanishing for holidays the next day seems to be a pretty bad idea to me, there are thousands of people playing this game every day, didn’t they expect that some things need to be fixed?

On the other hand, they probably had big crunch before the release, then with the after-release support. When should they take their leave? You got to say “enough” sometimes, get out and rest for awhile to regain the strength to plunge back in. Debugging such a huge project is not easy.

they already have our moneys

We once had a boss who was always going on vacation exactly three days before release and staying there for several days after the release also.
One day i came to his office and found half drinked glass of water on the table, that’s how quickly he got fired

So he got fired for drinking water? Fired for being hungover?

Well i assume everyone thought it was water until they smelled it. He was probably under his desk pished.

Err, no, he was fired bacause of always going vacant during the most critical stage of development

yeah these cunts need to finish their game this is ridiculous i cant even finish quests…fucking broken mess and now the main quest markers are gone…fuck these guys

Listen, nobody held a gun to their heads and forced them to release this game. They gladly took everyone’s money knowing the game was in a shambolic state. When should they take their leave, you ask? When customers who paid $60 (or equivalent) can actually play the damn game from start to finish.

I really don’t get how anybody can defend this. If you bought a car and all of the sudden a little glitch in the computer meant the thing wouldn’t start, you wouldn’t be okay with that. If you bought a microwave and the thing wouldn’t cook any longer than a minute, you wouldn’t be okay with that. If you bought a PC and it shutdown every time you opened an internet browser, you wouldn’t be okay with that. Etc., etc. For some reason, though, game-breaking bugs in video games are alright. I’ll never understand it.

Yeah, they are “investigating” the surroundings

Rodafowa’s explanation summed up this shitty situation perfectly.

Rodafowa has a point, under any other circumstance this business model would be met with heavy backlash but because the devs keep making empty promises people are more than happy to take the bullshit with a smile.

Have you ever had to deal with creditors? It may not be a gun but its a mighty big pen.
Watch the documentary if you want to understand. I think there doing the best they can under the circumstances. They will get it sorted.

They’re pacing themselves. This is a marathon, not a sprint

Your entitled to your opinion. I’m still having a great time with the game.
