Glad I’m not the only to feel this way. I get the design intent, but it’s developer naive to think some of us aren’t going to (isolate and) annihilate
ya, should show at least a sizable reduction in opposition during the attack.
Proof with this game that you aren’t meant to play Michael Myers and killing is frowned upon.
Your ment to play the game how ever you feel. Deciding the way forward as you progress. Weighing up decisions and accepting the results of your actions
No. I don’t think you even read the post where a person playing it his way (killing everyone) had zero sense in terms of the story, did you?
On the battlefield, shit happens and plans change. Henry had no intention of killing everybody in Pribyslavitz. Once Henry’s cover was blown however there wasn’t much choice left, kill or be killed. Henry chose the former while also making good on his tasks to poison all the pots and burn all the arrows. And yet, less than one day later all the corpses were gone and whole new squads appeared.
The fact that this game has so much immersive potential yet it’s so empty…I can sit in an outhouse but I can’t take a shit! Henry keeps getting ‘the hunger’ then he ought to be getting the runs too! This was the 13th century…
Also where are all the damn kids? Is that what is in all the cooking pots placed all over the game? Come On man, place em in the game and just put a nokill tag on them in the game.
Animals, kids, bowel release…empty
I’d rather try putting my hand up Theresa’s nightie !
Can’t we get some sexy nightware for the women at least, and how about a smoking jacket for Henry and maybe some thong underwear to get T’s attention !
I already brought the idea to WHS of adding some relevant sounds while on the crapper.
It would add some humor to the game.
Guess we’ll have to wait for the moders to do it for us.
Being killed trying to join the bandits is the developers way of saying, “Don’t be naive Henry!”
I fell for that one too, as probably many of us did the first time.
XBox One:
I primarily bought this game after seeing the beta graphics on YouTube.
I was blown away. I was thinking, “This is what Skyrim should look like.”
I wasn’t looking forward to the combat scenes I saw, but bought it anyway.
Very frustrated with the early bugs, as were most people.
I love the beauty of the forested areas, but I’m really disappointed in the wooden building textures, zigzag rain, and the crappie foliage in the cut scenes when picking herbs, as well as the familiar faces that appear as different characters. WHS needs to add more character faces and voices along with dialogue choices.
And townspeople need to stop bumping into Henry and blaming it on him, especially when he is standing still!
My stats are the lowest with the townspeople in Rattay, and I suspect bumping is the cause.
If WHS does not correct this, they need to add something to Henry’s dialogue choice like “Screw YOU !”
Then I’d have a reason to expect low popularity stats.
I hope WHS can correct these problems without affecting graphic performance or causing the game to crash.
That would be a step backwards.
I praise them for their past efforts, and expect the game will only improve with time.
WHS has a winner !
I look forward to the DLCs and hope some of the Steam mods will be available for consoles, as was done for Skyrim.
Please explain HUD to me.
I sort of new here.
Oh MY !
Imagine trying to fight a mounted Cuman while you’re on horseback !
That’s a whole different challenge and of course it would require training.
I would see a lot more of that dreaded screen “Game Over” if WHS could manage the technical difficulties.
I’m having enough trouble learning to battle on foot !
Shoot the horse!
Wasn’t any Victoria’s secret in the 15th century.
AND tobacco wasn’t introduced until after 1500.
HUD: Heads Up Display.
those little gauges and compass you see in the view of the game giving you info on the status of things so you don’t have to stop the game to see your health, fatigue. enemy health.
She hates all that and want just the screen and have to guess at these. The Hard core DLC will help get what she wants but prolly not enough to suite her.
Opium allegedly known to Sumerians as joy plant. Galen was a fan of it
Wasn’t really known until the 16th century
? Galen was from Roman times and had tremendous influence on medieval medical theory/practice… so wasn’t known until doesn’t make sense
