Not quite right. Bras were written about way back in 1315, and they have a few surviving examples from the 15th century that were recently discovered in 2008. Writings from the 15th century even go into specifics that there were different types of bras, both for showing off or for strapping down the overly gifted lady.

absolutely not a fan of romanticizing drug culture. but, medieval pharmacopoeia was weird, real, and often not really healthful. beyond that generous alcohol consumption (abuse) has been a European pastime for millennia

Please do not assume I am trying to romanticize the drug culture.
I was simply trying to point out that cannabis has been used for about 5000’years as a medicine and it was in many of the remedies sold in the US until the 1930s, until it was demonized as “marijuana” on a racial issue. Spanish for Mary Jane. Classifying it as a Schedule One drug was dishonest and racially bigoted because at the time Mexicans were the primary users.
Two weeks ago I lost a cousin to alcoholism, and I am a recovered alcoholic, so I know from past experience the devastating effects many drugs can have on a person, but cannabis is not one of them.
I’d like to know if cannabis was used medicinally in Europe during Medieval times.
If it was, then it should be included in the alchemy recipes and found in ditches in KCD to be historically accurate. Too much to ask?
