Well I liked the graphic, design and the environment but that’s it (and the armor/weapon adjustment system was OK). Somehow, it was enough to me to justified the money I paid.

But the story was horrible… I didn’t like the sides as they were so affected and silly. They probably wanted to make player to think about the choice but it end up quite awkward. And as you said - you can’t even change them.

Looting and exploring was same like since the Oblivion so I wasn’t really impressed by this. As with the soundtrack - hearing “Uranium fever” 1000 x time nearly drove me mad.

Well, like I said. Survival Mode is where it’s at. It’s what has re-ignited this game for me. Survival Mode just came out, so I’m guessing you haven’t played it yet. It’s fantastic.

Plus Far Harbor DLC comes out tomorrow, which is supposedly Bethesda’s largest DLC ever.

I must not listen to Diamond City radio enough. I’ve never heard Uranium Fever and I’ve played over 100 hours of Fallout4.

I finished FO4 some months ago (180hours) and deinstalled it. Maybe I will make a second run in one or two years with all DLCs (and survival mode).
Disappointment: Yes and no! Yes because playing as a bad ass dosn´t work and the AI or the game machanic is like dead bread (the NPC run always on the same paths).
No, because there are some WOW moments and it was fucking cool. They delivered everything they promised, and a ton of content.Many stuff and fun for the money everyone paid.
Lot of bugs at the start, but not too much and nothing game breaking.

Hm, maybe KCD will also disapoint. :wink: Because you can´t change history…
(I´m not sure if KCD will have enough WOW moments at the start to force the player to finish the game)

But that is different setting. I do not expect the same from historical fiction from a perspective of a humble blacksmith and from post apocalyptic retrofuturistic atompunk played as super hero general paladin.
Also the main problem to me was that all the factions seemed quite silly to me. Otherwise, I would not want to change them.

Yes, the faction are annoying. Maybe someone will made a DLC for more interessting factions. Or a new Raider faction, to terrorise the land. :smile:

Don’t get me wrong its not a bad game by any means Bethesda has an overall solid formula for thier games and there is the issue.

Overall I was more dissappionted with Bethesda then F4. They added new content but as always at the expense of old content and game mechanics.

Im just getting bored of same game with different skins any varying themes.

Bethesda reallg needs to make a new engine instead of polishing an antique.

Im interested to see the plans for the next TES game, I hope they redeem themselves they way rockstar did after GTA4, different situations by the share they same sentiment.

Yes, that´s the problem of sequels. It´s the same, only a little reconditioned. If something is successful they don´t change everything, the basis stays the same.
If you start from scratch it´s more risky and cost much more (new engine, new bugs, new problems).

WH starts as a newcomer, and has exact this problems. If there will be a act II, it will be much easier, because they have a solid basis and can go on. (And it will be only a little polished sequel :wink:)

i’m a youngin’ so i never got a chance to play ultima 7 until the past week and i thought it was one of the most interesting rpg’s i’ve played. does a great job in immersing you in a world with great gameplay too. other than rpg’s though i usually play flight sims. Il-2 CloD, BoS, and 1946 for the theater’s that CloD and BoS don’t do. Rise of Flight for when i feel like WWI. I don’t do strategy often but do like a few; I play Total War Empire when i feel like sending Redmond Barry out in the field and HOI 4 for, y’know… running a country in the ground.

If HoI4 is better than The Darkest Hour, or Stellaris, respectively, I might give it a try as well, but I really doubt it is from what I saw before - and I’ve been following it’s development for quite a long time… Paradoxian games are getting worse by day… :confused:

Welp, I uninstalled KC:D. Needed disk space and its hardly playable anymore and well 200+ of beta and what else is there to do anymore.

I thought about it the other day actually as well, coz I too was running a little lean on capacity. But KCD managed to survive the first round of culling. For now…

I’ve actually just started playing Enderal. Really impressed so far. A massive achievement given the circumstances :smile:
