That’s what i am thinking if a developer comes with a new super popular hyped game idea announcement,
Followed by the thought, "we will see in the next 2 years! "
And I did exactly the same after watching the dev beta screens, followed by the first gc version videos. Which all appeared after the last backer beta update and were shown.
in 2014 I was hyped too by KCD , but not that i forgot the last 15-20 years of game history

Are they still working on the Xbox version?
The drawing distance for objects is still horrible. Often, objects and clothing appear only if you are 2 meters in front of it.
This can be easily observed when visiting market stands. In Rattay there are only two market stands, but the game can’t load the goods the merchants are selling unless you stand directly in front of their booths. Go to Rattay during the day, find the two market stands on the plaza and you will notice that the tables are empty. Only if you go very close, the goods suddenly appear. Walk backwards for 2 meters and everything is gone again.
Same with clothing of many NPCs. They appear without hats, but suddenly when you are close to them their hats appear. Sometimes they don’t even have heads unless you get close to them and notice that they are human beings.
And omg, the hands of NPCs… Hands are always unnaturally stretched out, but only if you come close to the NPCs (approx. 5 meters) the hands “pop” into their correct position, like naturally hanging or holding something properly. This is so distracting that I can’t go on playing.
I will never understand how this got past Quality Assurance.

Yes, we do. The next patch (1.5) is addressing performance issues and bugs, and will be out soon for all platforms.

“You don’t have to play the game”. Yes but I did spend £50 on it, anyone who thinks that way obviously didn’t pay for the game or understand the value of money.

And yeah, we also know that it is not funny and great, awesome, beautiful or whatever to release the games unfinished. Hopefully you write that often in the forums of the other studios too.

And have you ever saw a Studio which said you beforehand, that they will fixing and what they want to fix? It is logical. They are playing her game in the end self.

Not for nothing, but I am playing on the XboneX and it is playing just fine.
It stuttered for me before 1.4.3, but it worked through it.
Try a hard reboot(unplug power and everything).
play through the stutter for a game or so (in game).
It may not work, but it did for me. game plays fine.
and I am up over 130 hours.

Highlights why I chose to get involved (with this forum).
An angry customer telling 10,000+ is the order of the internet- when happy customer dont speak up it skews the view.
I have never thought that others are not having issues; but like forum goers who would destroy every thread with their ‘free speech’ declaimations and whinging (rather than appropriate bug reporting etc); I would write that I (like everyone I knew playing the game) was having a problem free experience. (YES- It can and does happen)
What I came to see was that a few zealots on the ‘it works’ side of the fence (product working is key to saleability) were getting so badly attacked (and outnumbered) by angry people often without any level of courtesy or respect and heaven forbid any notion of manners…
This forum was misrepresenting the product.
True- happy gamers dont seek out solutuons to problems and hence werent being represented.
Nice once 1.4.3 came out how everyone vanished.
Maybe they are all happily playing- but they certainly have a lot less complaint(s) to register or roll with.
The forums are not overrun now with trolls (both sides) and so they are returning to being servicable and social.
