I’d honestly be quite happy to wait the extra two weeks. I’m so busy right now that I’m not going to have time to play it right away anyway, plus I’d rather wait until the first few patches have dropped.

I regret ever backing this in the first place, as these guys seem pretty disreputable to me.
Too bad. Would have happily waited two more weeks to get a GOG code instead.
Though I guess with the physical edition, those are already manufactured and tied to Steam, so it’s kind of understandable that no change is possible so late in the game 
.

Too bad we won’t get to redeem it on GOG. But atleast we have the game. (Trying to stay away from drm protected single player games)

I don’t think there needs to be any change. Just enabling GOG Connect for it - whcih can be negotiated with GOG, no need to change any steam stuff.
