Will my pc run this game?

Hi all,

I am not sure if this is the place for this kind of discussion. But I just found out about this game and I am very interested in it. However I was wondering, is anything known about how it will run on a normal ps4? (Since the ps4 has been really dissappointing me in how it runs games lately).

I do have a computer, but I am not sure if it will run it smoothly (Canyourunit tells me minimum is ok, but reccommendend isn’t).

My pc specs are:AMD Phentom™ II X6 1055T ~2.8GHz. and my video card is a: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Tahiti VTX3D HD 7950 X-Edition Boost (I got 16 gb of ram aswell)

So my question is basically, do you guys think if it will run on my computer? I much rather get it on my pc if it runs better on it than on my ps4. I Would love to hear from you guys!

Many thanks in advance! And sorry if this isn’t the type of discussion that is wanted here.

You can run game on low.

If you wanna fully enjoy the game, you might wanna upgrade before release… Or at least before you play… That’s what I plan to do at least

Hi facaz, this place is just right to ask all the informations about hardwares.
Now maybe I’m wrong but have you listed 2 graphic cards or what?

Assuming your GPU is the HD 7950 Boost Edition basically your only bottleneck is the processor which performs well below the i5-2500k.
The graphic card is quite decent and if we put processor aside with that graphic card you will perform better than the ps4.
As a matter of fact the ps4 uses a modified HD 7870 which meets the minimum requirements for the game, but it will run the game at medium settings because it will use a resolution 1600 x 900. The HD 7870 is weaker than your HD 7950 Boost Edition so i suggest you to upgrade your CPU and you will enjoy this game at 1600 x 900 with overall details better than the ps4 at the same resolution.

I hope I answered your question.

Best Regards

Hi Marcello,
Thank you for your answer!

My CPU is the AMD Phentom™ II X6 1055T. The GPU is indeed the AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Tahiti VTX3D HD 7950 X-Edition Boost.

WIll my CPU not be a bottleneck for this game?

If I can play this game on normal settings full res, I will certainly get it on my PC.

EDIT: Btw, if I want to change my CPU, I have to get a new motherboard, which in turn makes me have to buy a whole new computer unfortunately… So thats why I would like to stick to my pc for now.

Many thanks for answering again!!

Kind regards

Hi facaz I’m here to help where I can. Perhaps you missed what I said but your GPU is pretty fine and perform better than the ps4. The only limit/bottleneck is your CPU which performs poorly if compared to the i5 2500K, and the i5 2500K is the minimum required.

Can you tell me the model of your motherboard by any chance?

Thanks for your response!

Ahh, alright I missed that.

My Motherboard is a: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-870A-UD3 (Socket M2)

But I believe there is not an upgrade possible for this motherboard unfortunately

After searching a bit you should defintely be able to play game at medium settings. The minimum CPU requirement is a Phenom II X4 940 which is slower than your Phenom II X6 1055T. You could still upgrade your CPU from a Phenom II X6 1065T @ 2.9 GHz up to a Phenom II X6 1100T @ 3.3 GHz to have smoother game experience but it is up to you.
As always I do reccomend lower the resolution a bit to enjoy the game with a decent quality and smooth experience.

Do you think the Phenom II x6 1100T will make a lot of difference?
And do you know if it is possible to get it somewhere maybe second hand?

And should I also get a new GPU or should I just try and update the CPU?

Many thanks for the research man, really appreciate it!!

As you say, if you need new motherboard… your PC is still good for gaming as it will pretty much run most games on low settings at least but if you want good quality experience, you should consider buying new PC as it would probably cost you less, worth more to buy all new than just parts… but there is always option to buy parts cheap, but I would not risk that. Second hand and such is not what I am looking for.

Well as far CPU concerns don’t expect huge differences. Sure is that you will gain some FPS after the upgrade.
You can find second hand CPU around ebay or other eshops, here’s some: AMD Phenom II X6.
The GPU is quite capable, all depends on your budget. An already better option would be GTX 670, or GTX 680.
You just have to search online, and sure you’ll find some decent bargain.

Thanks guys.

I will do some research if I can find some cheap CPU/GPU’s, and otherwise just save up for a new game pc.

I am glad I can play this game on med settings, that should be fine

For around $3,000 you can get an amazing PC gaming rig that will play any game on ultra settings. If you are content with medium settings than you could get a PC for a lot cheaper. I prefer ultra settings and made that investment.

There is a difference betwin gtx970 and a 1060 to run this game? Whit a 970 should i be able to run on ultra settings? Together with a i7 intel and 8g ram Thanks

Well basically both GPU are equal between each other. You should be able to play on ultra settings at 1080p. The only restraint you might find are the 8 GB of RAM, but you shouldn’t suffer too much.

In battle it might play on nerves, when you’ll have freezes, when you need to play in timing.

Thank you! There is something about the G’s on the cards aswell? Mine for instance is a 970gtx 4G

Maybe, 4GB?

Yup, there is a 8G version aswell, or more
