Just wondering if there will be the ability to download the game the day before release so we can play it the day of without having to wait for download. I purchased the Digital Edition over a year ago. Anyone have any insight?

He meant preload. Like 90% of the files before release(At 13 February’s night time) and other 10% at release(When it’s will be released) to shorter the waiting time to download instead waiting full release and download all 30GB(Or how many).
Feels bad for people with bad internet connection. xd

Wait, so you’re telling us that it won’t be possible to download the game on February 12th, so that at midnight on february 13th we can start up the game and get going vs having to start the download at midnight?
That doesn’t make any sense… why would that not be an option? it’s been an option on every other game i have pre ordered online. In my case it’s the playstation store, and in every situation i was able to play the game right at midnight because i’ve already downloaded it earlier.
If more information on this topic is discovered, i’d love to know.

I guess, the problem will be in time zones and in people with “black caps” with “skull flags”.

If there is no pre load ill probably play the game on 14th feb cuz my connection is slow
Its also a question if PlayStation, Microsoft or steam allow a pre load. Its not just in the hands of the developers. It might be more expensive having the pre load options.
I don’t know how steam works in that regard but I can see a pre load being in a more expensive package from which warhorse or deep silver can choose, think tiers (like kickstarter).
Beacause steam aswell has had pre loads sometimes.
I hope we can pre-load on Steam since the consoles can preload already. Or that is what is going around anyway.
You will find access to your Steam version (if you are a Backer with a Steam version) in your profile on the 13th of February. Console backers will also not be able to pre-download. They will find their Key for the PS4 or XBoxOne in their profile on the 13th of February too.
