Hey guys… So I wanted to have a drink and throw some dice in Rattay and … well I arrived just at the end of a fight… Looks like some bandits raided Rattay and 2 people died… Including someone I never expected to see here…

But seriously, while I’ve never seen these two dead specifically, I have found random dead people in towns and such.
Guards are oddly useless when bandits are near. I learned this the hard way when I tried luring bandits that outnumbered me into a nearby town to try to even the odds. Didn’t uh… didn’t go how I envisioned, but hey, I had several well equipped witnesses for my death.
Actually the bandit is dead a bit further away, I show his corpse at the end of the video… black outfit… He killed Kunesh and the innkeeper… ;s so wierd
You sound surprised to see Kunesh. He survived the attack and was in Rattay in my game. Even told me where to find some gold in Skallitz.

I brought five cumans on my heels into Sassau and the guards helped me kill them, including chasing them down the road until they fled into the forest.

I was kidding around when I was saying Kunesh was the bandit and that the robbery went wrong and they both ended up dead.
What? I actually never paid much attention to the refugees… As soon as I was promoted to squire at the service of Sir Radzig, I just ignored them peasents
Accidentally killing the rattay bathmaid proprietor in her sleep rather than knocking her out and finding out no one would step up in her place was a bummer. Though, it did inspire me to write a mod to possibly “claim” businesses and/or assign a replacement proprietor in the future

I had a NPC character just drop down and die when I was following them and the quest I was doing failed because of that. It was the quest where you find Hendrick the Hare and I was supposed to kidnap the huntsmans wife and bring her to an arranged place by dawn, so I started following her when all of a sudden she drops down dead, I never touched her and there was no one else around, she just dropped dead and a message came up saying quest failed.
She saw the price of carrots in the market?

That’s why every game playthrogh will always be different, based on those random encounters. Same happened in Skyrim too, with those vampire and dragon encounters. Enjoy the game, for what it offers or in this instance, takes away.
