What have you done with graphics??? Im playing on Xbox One X…Since patched the game with 1.2, texture popups raising, some effects nerfed, the game has worse graphics than before…And framerate is much worse…
Please. PLEASE: Dont optimise the game performance with graphic downgrade, its a joke…
And because of f*ckin digital copy i cant reinstall the original game without this patch…

I’ve seen that lot of people aren’t happy with this on PS4 Gamefaqs forum either. I didn’t play before this update but there is a bit of pop in and frame rate could definitely be better…
Vavra on twitter said they didnt intentionally downgrade anything. Although i dont know how you do an unintentional downgrade and dont notice it. Ps4 pro patch 1.2 or psn patch 1.0.3 (have to be specific or the thread might get locked) is more of a mess. Sad really as the game looked amazing pre patch.
Well, making mistakes while optimising it and Not noticing right on would be “unintentional downgrading”.
That would imply they did not play test the patch. Like literally 5 min’s of gameplay you would see the pop in and slow texture loading . I get the fact it is a smaller team and they are busy but…Alot of people are unhappy about it.
Once more it’s Not the Same for all people. And i Answered your question, thats what you wanted when you asked, wasn’t it?
Mistakes,not mistakes… The optimisation was a fail… Same as grapics…
Its a great game. But the texture popups, the very low LOD distance…
There is no reason to use this kind of low textures on Xbox X…Not in this close distances…No reason for texture popups, npc popups… And why…WHY AF is so low??? AF hits the performance almost in 0-1 fps on 0xAF vs 16x AF…WHY ???..
I dont want graphics like Assassins creed origins… No. But with this kind of graphics, what the hell is that AF, that LOD distance, that popups…everything…
I copy the game on my external HDD from WD Elements and it looks good. Look under my user Laudan in the Xbox and you can see the picture and movies from the game. I AM now happy. Play on Xbox One x. No crashes so far.

Today’s consoles are many years behind PCs in terms of power.
Check Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted, or other games… On Xbox X games are the same just like a PC with ~ gtx 1060-1070…
In this game the problem is not thw console power…The problem is the optimisation… There are much bigger and better looking game than this, just like Horizon, Witcher 3, AC Origins… And there are no popup, low poli textures and other problems…
Well if you’re gonna compare KCD to games which all had a 10x bigger budget and weren’t using modern cryengine… also since you said “low-poli textures” I’m pretty sure you have no idea what you’re talking about, but it’s safe to say that the xbox cpu is much weaker than the cpus modern PCs use, which can bottleneck the xbox gpu, even if it were comparable to a 1070 (which it probably isn’t)
Cpu is only need for high framerate, bottleneck was there only. Learn about it.
I dont compare the game with others, just im say about your false about the power/graphic thing.
In this game,the problem is not the power of the consoles…

Check about digital foundy and other sites that reviews the cpu of consoles and the problems.
This game hase much lower graphics than a 3-4 years old game. And it has problems with textures, framerate… This is not the fault of console power…
Exactly, while I do think the Xbox one X versions power wasn’t taken full advantage off you got to remember it’s still using a shitty CPU.
I personally think ps Pro is better because you don’t need a GPU that powerfull if the CPU can’t back it up.
All you’re ever gonna get is minor upgrades, way better to get a pc than Xbox one X, specialy when it has no decent exclusives and as far as I can tell none coming either, it has got some coming but there shite. Oh and you will be able to play them on pc, pc and PS4 is all you need. PS4 is a must.
I’d sell that Xbox one X and get a mainstream pc. Don’t go high end because games arnt made to get use out of it, you’ll max all console scraps with high mid range gear.

This game needs a 1080ti for high graphic settings…On 1080p…For almost fix 60 fps (almost because its dropped to 30-40 sometimes)…For the SAME graphics you need almost a gtx 1060 6gb… Only the vga has the same price as the XbX…
And this is not a pc / sony / ms fanboy topic. Its a PROBLEM topic because of BAD OPTIMISATION…

the fact you say Sony pony and all those childish fanboy words is pathetic, childish, it’s my opinion, I don’t do fanboyism, I got a pc, 360 and PS4, love my 360 with custom firmware and was my favourite console last gen but the Xbox one is pretty crap now, worthless because pc is the better option there’s literally no reason to buy a Xbox anymore. 360 used to have some great exclusives, fable, witcher 2, risen. Was great. Not anymore.
