What strikes me as really really weird is that you can murder someone
and when you run away and the guard gets you he will start a conversation with you.
Like, seriously? I just murdered someone and he just stands there in front of me, not even holding me or taking my weapon and starts a conversation with me.
This seems highly unrealistic to me. Even today policemen wouldn’t go after a murderer and when they get to him just stay still in front of them to see what they have to say. The first thing they do is handcuff them, and if they resist they wrestle them down. They certainly wouldn’t let them keep their weapon while they ask questions. I doubt that the guards were more reserved in the medieval ages.
Kind of an immersion breaker to me.
Imagine this:
You break into a house. You murder the guard. You steal stuff. Policemen run after you. Then you just turn around, they stop and you start a conversation with them.
