And FtA is called short changing
Yes kk, have fun with your briliant FtA!
Before my next run , mebbe trying HC, I am thinking of deleting the DLC from my GoG list of installed extras
I am having fun with it! Would be much appreciated if WH implemented home and guard services in Pribyslavitz to more appropriately compensate Henry for his investment, to better balance the map and to give Henry the home he deserves.
Also a better path to travel to it. Build that dmn weir too.
The path leading out from the bakery/butcher shop (to Skalitz) is beautiful. Unfortunately, itâs not the direction most people want to travel
True, the most advantages way is down thru RovnaâŚâŚ. basically a deer trail.
and way way too short.
Iâd love for WH to add the weir and wider path from the stone bridge to Talmberg/Rovna as theyâre both logical extensions of Pribyslavitzâs development.
As is, the stone bridge and trading post next to it make little functional sense from the perspective of cart deliveries that are presumably supposed to travel that way. The trading post would make more sense in the bakery/butcher shop lot as the path supports the deliveries you arranged
To me though, as much as iâd like to see them, these terrafomations are nice to haves
has more to do with the game than you think. regarding software in medicine/clinical contexts, change controls and procedures are of primacy. beyond traceability of specs to development, regulators want to see controls in place. read about Therac-25 as a reference point.
WH has launched a number of patches that lacked appropriate measures (eg, 1.6). these measures donât require fixing things (eg popins) but they should include informing the client about whatâs going to happen with this patch so the client can make adjustments (cease use until another patch released, mod the affected item, continue as usual but eat the risk of software failure, start a new game, change gameplay, etc). these adjustments are controls, no less for KCD than medical device software. patch 1.6.3 for PS4 (v1.10) appears to fit the bill in this regard. itâs a much welcomed first.
im not saying buildings can be built in a few days. im saying dont tell players time is passing when it isnt. how much time has passed determines whether you can go hunting.
In the end, WH can´t make it realistic, because the game has no seasons. So it´s a compromiseâŚ
But you could try. Example: Tell a building would take a week to build in game time and let the player go off and do things in that period and have a messenger or a game notice( henry thinks: âHmmm it been a week mebbe I should go and lookâ ) to come back when done and inspect it.
Kind of like the trebuchet attack on Talmberg
I think WH should just remove any reference to time
Yes, for me this would be cool, but this mechanism would last to long. To Finish FTA you need around 20 steps. If every step lasts 3 days (which is too short), you need 60 ingame days to finish the DLC.
You can start FTA only mid game, so 95% would never finish the DLC before the endgameâŚ
Was Just an Example. A starting point to a working solution. After all you hafta wait on when to ask Teresa for a date and that is more than a day and done 3x. Or you could have a Package deal: build 2 or 3 buildings in a week and make the player expend more of his massive amount of Groshen for this option. The road out ( and in wrong direction, shoulda gone to Rovna IMHO) should take a little longer than a preverbal blink of an eye. BTW whereâs the damn Weir that was mentioned that should have be built? Not even going with the rest not done here.
You are right. FTA is not finished. Not in the way every(!) player want´s it.
Everyone wants a complete village, not only a âconstruction areaâ.
Not sure itâs a complete hamlet or a reasonable one in which its inhabitants can bathe, launder and mend clothing/shoes
Great dlc! One thing that they have to add is baths to Pribyslavitz
i like it. there are a lot of QoL things i wish WH would add (more tavern activities, more townsfolk interactions, more guard related activities, ability to display a weapon/armor set, etc). theyâd be huge nice-to-haves.
the bathing/mending actiivities to me are more than that. they impact gameplay. Henry has to travel a non-trivial distance to obtain those services. shouldnât need to travel essentially the whole map to repair clothes and shoes. same applies to bathing once Talmberg is taken over.
if WH adds bathing and mending services, Pribyslavitzâll be a very decent hamlet. one worthy as a center of operations⌠and in alignment with the role of a bailiff whoâs been tasked with managing a viable settlement
