Lol i was watching an inn keeper eat his lentils on a table outside in the rain. He looked miserable. Having eaten in the rain i could relate

This ive seen too many times. Itā€™s just depressing, like the guyā€™s wife made him that last lentil soup before leaving him and now heā€™s eating it and contemplating life :joy:

Iā€™d really like to see better movement. It feels really clunky and basic right now. Vaulting is like a cutscene you sit through, and your character fails to climb things like the banks of a stream. I like smooth, fluid movement mechanics in games

I doubt they can make much changes to the movement since itā€™s engine related. If youā€™ve played crysis games, itā€™s the same movement pattern

You can definitely create your own movement mechanics in any engine.

Option at start to save Bianca. Option to bang Bianca later.

Too bad she turns into a dead npc after. Even Stephanie for that matter.

Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s in the game as Iā€™m not too far in. Or if it had already been mentioned in this thread. Arrows on fire.

I think if they just give us a sleeping bag for traveling and give us the opportunity of saving the game itā€™ll be fantastic. donā€™t u think so. and if they can put new armors itā€™ll be great. :kissing_closed_eyes:

Besides fixing the bugs, i would like to see the following:

  • dog
  • follower/hireling (so when your attacked by multiple enemies you still have a chance to survive) (maybe make use of your friends like frits and mathew - tank and thief. Since they are always looking for adventure)
  • season change (from spring to winter with storm from mild to severe with possible hypothermia)
  • warmth rating for every clothes or armor you ware (linked with season change)
  • diseases (sleeping in unclean places i.e. bandit camps or in animal dens like caves or even by not cleaning your wounds)
  • tournaments (1 vs. 1 up to 20 vs. 20 on sword, maceā€¦etc, jousting)
  • camping (so your not dictated to look for a camp or inn if your tired and out in the wilderness)
  • firemaking (from using sticks to flint) & getting wood to make the fire
  • cooking (free style so you can mix match your ingredients)
  • buying your own house & upgrading or repairing it with stable so you can have more than one horse
  • buying your own business & upgrading it
  • wood working (to make your own bed and furnitureā€™s etcā€¦)
  • farming (small scale so you can grow your own potion- or cooking ingredients)
  • improved hunting (make the animals smarter - with wolves and bears (side quests is eradicate them))
  • fishing (part of survival necessity)
  • smithing (so you can make /improve your own weapon/armor)
  • better repair kit (to be used only for damaged weapons and not for cleaning)
  • mining and metal smelting (this include melting your old armor/weapons)
  • leather working (same as smithing but maybe combine it with fletcher)
  • better romance conversation/interaction after you have established a relationship (not the one sex with Theresa where when the deed was done its like nothing happened and you spent time courting her)
I have lots more but these are on the top of my ā€œI wish they included itā€ā€¦

Atleast most of these options should really be implemented in the game. Theyā€™ll really take it to the next level then.

Iā€™d like to see another minigame. :sunglasses:
Maybe a (historical accurate) Card game, with some nice illustrations.
Always loved that in the witcher.

In Austria whe have this game called Schnapsen, witch is according to wikip. about 450 years old.
I guess there are some older card games.

A) I would love to see some more wildlife like:
-bears, wolves, Lynx
-badgers, squirrels
-BIRDS! (only saw some awful crows)
Some can be very rare or difficult to catch or come out only at night/Dawn etc would be fun as I LOVE to play hunter.

B) Now the more agility you get the faster your character WALKS, run, sprints. I donā€™t like that walk speed is increasing with agility, I like to stroll in the woods at normal speed. So, walk speed should never change for me.

Just small things, that do not require changing the game into mediaval minecraft:

  • ability to mark some items in inventory, especially armor. Itā€™s hard to keep track of what i want to wear and iā€™m using mostly this: Best armor set (like 10 times), good stealth set (5 items), Charisma set (5 items, rarely used), maybe cuman set. Marked items should be prevented from accidental sell and group should be moved or (un)dressed as a whole set.
  • grouped inventory on horse, armor grouped by slots (optionally to keep ability to sort items)
  • crossbow
  • some hysteresis for greetings, when someone like blacksmith (ledečko) travells in and out of proximity, he says Hi Henry every 10 seconds
  • when buying/selling/repairing stuff, interaction should be kept in cache for a while to prevent loading every time i want to check horse inventory or repair stuff etc. Another annoying loading screen is after washing my face
  • mushrooms on low graphics details are completelly missing (better GPU increases survivibility  )
  • ability to talk to someone at different terrain level (without climbing stairs and standing closely to each other in front of door) ā€¦ well, when itā€™s possible it breaks animation and view :frowning:
  • Iā€™m quite sure that beta had more realistic shading with some kind of ambient occlusion and forest were looking much better. They are pretty good now, but they were spectacular. I have not visited parts that i explored in beta a lot, but I think that forests were more dense in general. Maybe iā€™ll try to increase details, maybe density is decreased around hunting spots that i visit the most.

More complex:

  • more chained quest, not just two lines (main, capon)
  • Tereza should be ā€œusedā€ same way as bathhouse wench, some walks along the river would be nice

Well, once the bugs are patched there are three things I want.

One, tournaments. Archery, Melee, the joust, whatever. I would love to compete in tournaments. It could be a great way to earn some Grochen and rapidly raise your reputation if you do well, with the risk of dramatically lowering your reputation if you enter and do really, really badly. For example, I would become a laughing stock if I entered an archery tournament but canā€™t shoot at all.

Two, I would love crafting more than just potions. Henry is an apprentice blacksmith. He knows how to forge even if he lacks Martinā€™s skills. I would love to have a forge we can use in Rattay, maybe hire some of the Skalitz refugees to help us as assistants, and forge our weapons and armor. It could even be a skill tree, similar to stealth, alchemy or whatever. The perks could be you start off as a general blacksmith, you can forge horsehoes, basic weapons and armor, and maybe get up to mid tier gear when you can get a perk. Swordsmith, and you can create the highest tier weapons of any class, Halberds, Swords, Maces and axes. You can also make grochen through commissions as a result. Or maybe Armorsmith and you can craft some of the best armor in the game, plate mail, chain mail , and so on. If youā€™re a swordsmith, blacksmith kits are much more effective in the field and last longer, armorsmith has the same thing.

Third, I would love to continue relationships. It seems odd that after courting Theresa we just donā€™t communicate at all. I can only have the starting conversations and questions when I first got to Rattay. It would be great, if Iā€™m in Rattay, I can possibly take Theresa out on a date, maybe get a quick scene of them eating or her treating Henryā€™s wounds and avoid the bathhouse if I wanted to play an honorable, one-woman only type of Henry, or maybe having Theresa react to Henry telling her of his adventures. Fighting Runt, infiltrating Vranic, her reactions to what Henry learns, her teasing him for becoming a monk, something.

Overall though, I love the game despite the bugs. Itā€™s one of the best RPGs Iā€™ve ever played.

Iā€™d like more to do and a more filled out world. The landscape is beautiful but there isnā€™t enough to interact with in my opinion. Absolutely love the game though!

These are some very good points. Maybe itā€™s too late to add them to the current game but I certainly hope they do get added to the second one

On number 2 i too would love to own a forge and hire refugees. That would be awesome to pick people too. But Iā€™d like the option of being mean to them
