How Dare You Charge 60 Dollars for a Game in This State

Yep, the warning signs were there =

  • A kickstarter game
  • first game they had developed
  • Almost non-existent beta testing which was more like an alpha test

For sure this game is 12-18 months under baked and in its current form, it is more of a rough beta than a finished product. Like you, this will be my last WH game and my last game that I buy within 6 months of release.

Just a thought:
Why doesn t anyone blame Deep Silver? Isn’t it the publisher who decides on the release date?
One thing is for sure: Its Deep Silver where your 60 Bucks go to in the first place.

And BTW: Im on the :cow: side but for safety reasons I will only do sidequests until 1.3 is out

Yeah I haven’t played since I made the post. I play games to have fun, not to have my progress erased from bug after bug. I really wish I could refund to be honest, Steam should allow refunds for extenuating circumstances like this but what can you do? I just know for next time to not purchase anything from these guys.

Ive had such a good time with this game that im excited for dlc and sequels. Best game ive played since witcher 3. But i haven’t had any big problems. One quest bugged that was game breaking and i had to reload and not complete that quest. Besides that its run with minor flaws (xbox here obviously the best console;)). Ive played every day since launch.

After reading your temper tantrum in text form I realized I just wasted my time, but hey screw it right another 10 minutes of my life wasted :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

If it took you 10 minutes to read that post, you’ve you bigger problems than 10 minutes of your life being wasted. I’m impressed you were able to type up a response at all. Also, cute attempt at trolling and all, but I give it a 0/10. Better luck next time.

You should refund your computer and get an xbox so you can play kcd;)

Broken quests are one thing, not being able to save your progress is another problem entirely … that is a huge issue because there is nothing more infuriating than losing a bunch of progress due to the fact that the save just hangs infinitely.

This problem should have been addressed autonomously with its own patch instead of trying to create one big patch with quality of life improvements and quest fixes.

They’ve know about the save game bug for 2 years and didn’t fix it. My game is useless, unless I want to start over. I’m not risking it corrupting anything after everything I’ve read

Proof of that?

Agree about the price. They maybe shuldve done a game preview( not sure how that wrks) and charged half until game was in a more stable state. I however havnt had any lost or corrupt game files “yet” so i cant cant complain too much. The game freezes alot but usually resumes and other than that i get alot of funny bugs and glitches.

People are simply being unrealistic if they think a game is going to release at $30 or $40 now and then people will pay the rest later on sometime.

I also think that about 30.000.000$ of missing revenue would not necessarily speed up the bug fixing process.

Talk about a cry for attention. You call out a lot of issues that i have not exepierence except once or twice in the BETA. Its one of two things; you are that desperate for attention to go on a game forum and cry (pretty pathetic), or there is something wrong with your rig/files. Id suggest uninstall and reinstall to check for corrupted files. If not whatever youre playing on has a problem or isnt strong enough

the saving corruptions have been known for 2 years… here is a link on youtube where a guy plays the beta version of the game PC with corrupt saves problems… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zKshpRphD0
i have it on PS4 it happened to me… i have send them an email they reply that it will be fixed with the 1.3 patch coming next week… so i hope the game will recognize my corrupt saves because loosing 30h plus of gameplay and do it all over again with the fear that it will happen again is a no… and just disrespectful towards the gamers who just want to have fun playing a game they bought 60€…

Now this is funny. Since you haven’t had the issues yourself they don’t exist. You seem like a smart boy. And my rig is plenty powerful, there buddy. Thank you for your “expert” opinion though, I’ll be sure to put it in the trash where it belongs.

I don’t see your complaint a legitimate at all. I have personally withness a small handful of game breaking bugs in the 60 hours I’ve played. As for it not being finished well that’s your oppinion. I’ve found very little issues with this game as a whole. At first my complaint was saving and lock picking. I’ve sense retracted those because who knew I got better at lock picking and 2 I learned to make savior schnapps or relized if sleep in a bed for more than an hour my game saves. Problems solved. I’ve seen 2 maybe 3 crashes. That’s it. I’m proud to be called a fan boy cuz boy I’m a fan of this medieval game. Hey look at the bright side. At least we weren’t all swindled like No Mans Sky did. Also you need to take into consideration that even though there are some bugs reloading your game most always fixes them. And if you didn’t save before a major mission than that on you. Not the company. Saving is easy when the very first recipe your giving is the one for savior schnapps and all u have to do is go pick a few Belladonna and some nettle. Pour wine in the coldren than put 2 handfuls of Belladonna in the mortor and grind them ahead of time, than put them in the dish. Than add a handful of nettle to the coldren and boil it for 2 turns than pour the Belladonna in the coldren and boil for another turn. Then pour that into the fial. Done.

The only annoying bugs are the cockroaches who frequent these forums trying to dissuade people from an amazing game.

He said he saved, however the game didnt save.

He got the “Game saved” message, he didnt have an issue finding a bed or brewing some schnapps, get it into your head.

Just because you didnt have problems doesnt mean other didnt have problems.

The game is full of bugs, and even aside from the bugs it is quite shite. The story doesnt finish, your choices dont matter, perks are either broken or make no sense and the replay value is zero, unlike pretty much every other open world RPG I ever played.

Get it through my head. Ha. That’s laughable. Maybe others are having issues. I’ve had a couple but to act like this game is as bad as your saying is false. If you don’t like the game and you really do feel the way you do than sod off ya wanker and go play something u do like. Maybe a Sesame Street game would be up your alley. Don’t fucking attack me just because I disagreed with your butt brother. As for bugs. A few but not full of. Your statement is again false. As for saving if you don’t wait hours in between saves there wouldn’t be an issue even if u saved one an hour wouldn’t be that much to go back and redo.

I’ve got my 160 dollars worth out of this game.

So you didnt get the part where he says saving doesnt work.
