Hopefully they will also increase the auto-saves as well. Dan specifically mentioned save on exit in his tweet, but it is really frustrating to lose ages of progress sometimes.
There needs to be an autosave when either starting or finishing any quest or sidequest.
I’m fine having to run back to an area after I die, but having to redo an entire quest after you have already completed it has already caused me to close the game down in frustration.
I would have thought this a no brainer. This terrible system will be costing them money. I have friends who would have bough this game and wont now because of this issue. I expect there are a lot of people thinking the same. This is going to effect Warhorses bottom line. Let people play the game they paid for the way they want . Who are they to be the “save police?”

I think he is referring to the escalation in tone eg " whingeing little bitches " as you say. As for the topic we will have to see how they fix it and how fast.
I believe they are implementing a Save-on-Exit system - Not adding infinite saves to cater to people not understanding this game yet, people will put in more time and figure that they will appreciate the system as is, and still not tarnishing the dream of KCD
I thought it would be a problem, hearing about it, but to be honest I’m 27 hours in and have yet to use a single schnapps.
It wasn’t a dream, it was an idea. They implemented this to allow the player to face the consequences of their actions without having to reload a save just because they didn’t get their way. I understand that they want us to get the full experience. But the problem people are facing is that when they die or the game crashes due to a bug, they have to restart hours of gameplay all over again. It’s really frustrating for them and it makes them want to stop playing.
I myself have had little issues, people just aren’t using to a more complex and difficult game. They expect hand outs and hand holding. There is a hill people need to get over and after that it’s wonderfully comfortable and a great experience.
My game crashed once but it reverted to a recent sleep so nbd. That’s why they there is the mechanic of Energy to force people to sleep and therefor save.
I think it’s less to do with we aren’t used to more complex games, and more to do with how we want to experience the game.
This is an amazing world that Warhorse have created and we would rather explore everything at our own pace instead of being limited.
No, people want to play the game as they sit fit. It does not affect your game at all. If you don’t want to save very often and like replaying the same last two hours for whatever reason, death, power outage, crash, not enough time to run back to a bed, etc. so be it. I would rather go back to a recent save.
