how does asking for a refund for a defunct product make you a child? I bought something, it doesn’t work, I would like a refund. So what if it’s a game or something else? So what if it’s a new company that’s no excuse. Tesla is a new company too. You want a car that need’s to be brought in to update every few weeks? How does everyone just accept that games are released in in terrible shape? How are people ok with paying full price for something, then having to wait weeks or months to receive what you paid for. This practice in the gaming industry is so standardized now all you dumbies think it’s ok. This game isn’t in the best shape it can be in, I don’t want to play it while it’s in it’s worst public state. I’ll get my money back, wait to see if they fix things, then possibly revisit. There is nothing wrong with that. If you’re happy with the game because you’re in the group of people that it works for, then good for you. Not everyone is in your shoes.

After a couple of weeks they wouldn’t issue a refund so you have to request it now based on first impressions.
Awful launch, awful state of game and awful communication from devs.
Not a great first impression so get out whilst you stil can and maybe come back if they can fix it later on down the line. I give it 6 months based on how bad it is right now.

I have the PS4 version, and besides pop in textures and pick pocket noise glitch when caught I’ve had zero problems.

I’ve Stage several Times, that this is the wrong conclusion and its Not only uot to the devs But also to the Publishers when a Game is released. Im not going to rewrite it all again.

Wow mate, climb out of the Devs ass. People have every right to claim a refund if the game ain’t working, this is not childish whatsoever. The Devs are asking a hefty price for the game, which is broken for many people. Heck, monster hunter world is cheaper than KC:D on the UK PSN store and is a polished game at a triple A price. If your going to charge this much then you better produce the goods. They have done nothing but tarnish their own reputation with this launch.
They knew the game wasnt fit to be released on consoles, yet they released it anyway. You make your bed you lie in it

Thankyou for making this thread, I know Sony are hard to get refunds off, however I did the same and got the same response as you, that they have had alot of trouble with the game. Straight refund no questions asked. Very unusual for playstation support mind, normally very stubborn with refunds.
Had the game on a playstation 4 pro, had hardly no problems at all for a while, but the further I progressed the more game breaking bugs began to appear. From locking up the playstation to the game not saving. Just isn’t on for such an expensive game

As samsam89 mentions in their original post, the UK have very strict consumer laws which protect us from things like this, maybe this is why we have been able to get one here.
Have the game for PS4 and it shows to much promise for me to get a refund but I don’t mind waiting a week or 2 for the patches. Nice you are getting a refund but all games now have problems at launch some are worse than others and it just depends on how much patients you have.

No, not all game have this kind of issue game breaking bugs including corrupt save file…
this game is total crap, they should have delayed release, it’s a beta, not a full release

But it IS your kind of mindset enables developers to release pisspoor performing, buggy and non optimized games. If you do not try to get your money back, then you are telling game devs that you are fine with that kind of game releases. Look at it this way, you are handing in your car to the autoshop to get a new polish. When you come back a few days later, the mechanic gives you your car back, totally dented and all scratched up. Here you go he says, pay me now. Full price. Would you really do that? And say, oh well, i will just drive my car when it is dark then. I would ask the mechanic to redo the job, or ask for my money back. Like any other sane person. Same with games or anything you buy, if it is broken get your money back.

I understand your Anger…But the Big gaming companies are Not going to Change anything when you do harm to their small opponents. Its Companies Like EA that destroy the world of gaming, Not small Studios Like WH that are trying to get Innovation Done… Sometimes i Wish, that the game would’ve become Less popular, so they would’ve Had the Chance to Focus on smaller Bits at First.
