I’ve seen puddles being formed by rain
Yeah source: The pictures taken on the same spots you can find above. Even if time and weather are different, vegetation and texturing are obviously not the same.
Yeah the water pouring is gone too, your right. I dont want to say that there is no difference, I just want a huge overview about all possible changes or reasons for them
What kind of artist, if you do not see the difference in crowns and leaves of trees, in the beta version of the crown of the tree is much more realistic and foliage too
I was really impressed with the quality of the forests… but yeah they knew they are going to be downgraded long time ago. They didnt want to open pandoras box too soon.
Well even if forests were downgraded I was doing some hunt yesterday and venture myself deep into Sasau Woods, it was great. I’m already enjoying what I have even if forests are not the same as before and seems to be more historically accurate (the main reason why I’m not complaining too much about it ).
Hunt…rly? Shot arrows on animals and they dont move after a hit till their dead…
Thats not hunting
Yeah that’s right but I can’t do much more for the moment ^^
The forrest 1 year before
It´s a shame…
And i can see how the frames droping. Playing on this will blow up computers^^
I guess they have around 20-15 fps
What specs do you have?
but owuldnt it be possible to have an “extreme high” option for at least shaders? So that you can switch to the Beta look in one or more ways though
Vegetation shader is different, in final version it lacks translucency. The lighting looks better in Beta too, but I’m not sure why (I can be caused by volumetric fog and vegetation shader). If warhorse release modding tools, we should be able to get it back (those shaders are part of cryengine).
Thats my thoughts exactly. Like Oblivion: Was an not too bad game as released, but due to modding it was an awesome, part of my life and community impacting event
I agree with certain things in the game that is unfinished. but what I don’t get is. I have a PS4 Pro. buddy of mine came oveer and we compare it on the basic ps4 and my ps4 pro. no difference other than sharper and dark shadows… i feel like there should been a protize setting for ps4 pro. seems a bit ood on my books
I think that can be done or is possible. But really, if people crying about the downgraded graphic…
I’m sorry to say that and i dont mean it bad to someone but that’s the price to play it on a console
if you dont want two different versions on PC and Consoles.
And nobody on a console can say how it will run in beta style because there was never a beta on these.
Most of the time, developers realize that the first rendered graphic can not be played by any PC if you want the full map in that style. It was the same to Witcher 3. No one has seen the complete map in all older trailers, but everybody knows that it’s playable
- Complain about performance
- Complain about graphics downgrade
That is what you get when you make a game using cry-engine.
Ye, that looks pretty bad
We’ve been really spoiled with the beta forest. They’ve set some unrealistic expectations there. Forests still look very realistic, though.
Right about that … Not all is lost
i just came here to say i respect all of your opinions but i dont give a shit about what you guys think am enjoying the game and am having alote of fun (on the normal ps4) this is one of the best games ive ever played in my life and dam it felt so good havnt had any good games since witcher 3 and fallout 4.
thanks for the reply
right. it looks different. i don´t know if the european forest in the medieval times looked that different from now, but i live in germany and what i can say is that all the forests i know have exact the same kind of plants and trees like the beta has. if i go in the forest approximately 500 meters away from my house, it looks 1:1 like the beta. that´s one reason why i liked it so much. of course that´s my personly opinion.
yes, reshade can help to make it look a bit nicer but as far as i know, that are only post processing effects and can not really change the light itself. i don´t know if you can change the lightningsystem by editing some textfiles somewhere, but ideally we get mod support with access to the level file to change the lightning and shaders in the editor itself. And then we can assign the old vegetation assets to the forest ground material. that´s the theory
and if all this don´t work, i will wait until summer an go in the woods in real life and look at the stunning graphics. i hope there are no bandits.
