We NEED a female warrior Protagonist!

This was not a military order, but it was one of the few female honorific orders

all of them are from western countries
no female warrior was in Bohemia until 20th century

Here ya go

The Order of the Ermine, founded by John V, Duke of Brittany in 1381, was the first order of chivalry to accept women; however, female knights existed for centuries in many places in the world prior to this.[4] Like their male counterparts, they were distinguished by the flying of coloured banners and generally bore a coat of arms.

One woman who participated in tournaments was Joane Agnes Hotot (born 1378), but she was not the only one.[5][6] Additionally, women adopted certain forms of regalia which became closely associated with the status of knighthood.[7]

you seem to mistake honorific orders for military orders. basically like knighthood of modern day, it has no military relevance.

In all game which has choice gender, I always choice female characters, lol.

Not true at all, and Bohemia in 1400 bordered what is now Austria and Germany, all this happened next to each other and were part of the Holy Roman Empire.

Seriously order of the ermine was male and female and people were inducted for military honor.

not true! we were part of Holy Roman Empire since 16th century
until than it was kingdom of Bohemia and its crown was separate from Holy Roman Empire

Stop talking.
Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire (1198–1806)

I hope we’re done here because this thread is literally a complete and utter waste of time and humanity.

ok I admitt you are right
Bohemia was part of empire I mistake it with firt Habsburg on bohemian throne
Still there is no female warrior, if you have proof pls send it to me, I would like to see it.

There is a book like “Warring Maidens, Captive Wives and Hussite Queens” by John Klasse claimed some old sources of Bohemia history have female warrior fighting along side with male warriors in Hussite War, don’t buy it throught. Also, in Bohemia tales in Chronica BoĂ«morum that wrote by the priest Cosmas of Prague, has a tale call “The Maidens’ War” about Vlasta leads a band of women against the male forces of LibuĆĄe’s widower, Pƙemysl There is news that devs is working on a DLC with a main female character, let wait and see if she is warrior or not, if she can become a warrior, there may be reasons for devs do it, maybe based on Bohemia history records that only remain in Czech language.

No, we don’t need a female main character in this game: this story tells about Henry the blacksmith’s son, not Kunesh the Drunkenlord, nor Fritz, nor the Pope of Vatican city. Neither Henriette. We need a female character if the story will be built around a female one, but the story must change, of course.
In no way this particular story can fit in everyone, because everyone is not Henry. I will be glad to play a female main character as well, but not in this story.

In the end it was favourable for them so they burnt her, the reason as to why they burnt her was an excuse, pretty much.

i agree, this thread is pointless.

We should get one for satire where she dies from Runt’s blow to the head at the end of the tutorial, otherwise they’d have to make a whole new game, since the difference between men and women and how they were treated was ENORMOUS at that time.

A woman wouldn’t help with the forge in the tutorial either.
A woman would probably not produce enough adrenaline to get away from those Cuman archers when riding to talmberg after that arrow to the knee.
A woman wouldn’t have been let out of Talmberg at all since people would be more pressing to protect her.
And much later in the game a woman couldn’t possibly join monks in a monastery, she’d be a nun instead, and nuns never even come into contact with monks.

So if they make a female protagonist it should be for only the tutorial and see how horribly everything goes wrong until she finally gets killed by Runt at the end of the tutorial and the player goes back to picking a male protagonist.

sooo Ive noticed kind of a pattern with people trying to show off “Female Warriors” is that alot of the were of some nobility decent either Dukes or Counts while our main character here is of course a Peasant making it waaaaay more unlikely for anything to go his way

Prove that she fought in battle, in fact give me once piece of solid evidence for a female fighting in battle alongside men.

And leading an army, or being in charge during war time does not count.

Norse shield madiens fought in battle
 long befofe this game, however.

On another note
why are you people still discussing this? At this point is an endless circle. Those in favor of a female keep using the same shit and those against keep using the same logic to soundly trump the opposition. Its fruitless from both sides.

Sorry but there is no proof of that. The arms, and armor they were buried with could have easily been their husbands, as this was not an uncommon thing to do.

Is it plausible? Sure, but there is no hard proof that they fought.

Say whatever you want, this is what the devs said about a female character:

To be clear the woman was already in our game as a NPC and the twist would happen anyway. You would just be able to play that section instead of getting it told. However we cannot give the player the option to choose sex of the “hero” because it would clash with our creative vision, which is to deliver a story based on big historical events in authentic medieval society. And the story we crafted simply cannot happen for a woman. Even in disguise. Forced female hero would be no good. Sorry.

The most well known would be Jeanne D’Arc, who also happened to be a peasant. There are definitely women who fought in battles, but as for peasant women I think Jeanne D’Arc is the only one and when people higher up got wind of it she was immediately sentenced to death on the stake.
