I never said there was alot of them. I just said there are highly insane people.
And @213 i was lead to believe this was a medieval open world rpg, and i believe it was referred to as a medieval life simulator.

That’s true also i really don’t have a problem at all with you killing lots NPC or a game allowing it. I just wouldn’t know how to roleplay that kind of crime with out opertunity or actual gain. If your character is a Vampire of course that changes everthing. I’d imagin even werewolfs would just vomit after eating that amount of humans.

Easy first find a lone person (start low) make sure they look lower class beggers and such kill them and take thier corpse to a secret spot and lay them one on another. When u run out of the lower classes just kill who u can. U see a knight? Shoot him with a crossbow and finish him with a fighting pick, or have multiple preloaded crossbows.

If there Are children Its ok for me But no need. And i Dont need to kill children.

I also dont need gay and porn in a rpg.

I want to Do intersting quests , need a good story , craft items ,collect items want to Explore the area and good fights. .

So no shown sex needed, killing Kids or gay npc.

I just want the freedom to kill anyboy children, kings, women, men, horses, pets, and the odd pigeon. If you dont feel the need to kill your free to choose not to kill them, i for one want the freedom to choose my path and not have my hand held by a game that plays bigbrother. I like freedom of chioce because i like replability, i want to be able to play a sandbox rpg like a sandbox rpg, bot the no simulator.

Heres the easy idea just allow in the code to “easily” turn off there invunerability no harm done :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

likely there is more than just one line of code. probably things related to death animations, weapon interactions, injury animations will have to be implemented for that to work.

someone can maybe spend a few months to implement that with placeholder code and animation from adults.

buy i doubt warhorse is going to waste time implementing something so banal and against the theme of the game. so there is no easy solution. if you want to kill kids, you will have to make a comprehensive mod for that

I was just giving an example, im not that fussed id rather play the game and adventure as an archer soldier

I dont think so death animations are that complex to shrink down… Plus in coding department set the children group to something else other then immortals would take a line or two.

Edit: my evidence supporting this is the fact that wh would most likely use stock animations for people dying and not unique ones for every single person.

If I got an euro for every time I read “this is not an X simulator” in this forum…

if i get a zimbabwe dollar every time someone makes a suggestion that would require such a response, i’d still be richer than you :wink:

I have read part 3 of the Kingdom Come special in german magazine PC Games.
Hey talks about children in the game, and about the difficulties to have them.
He says he want them in the game, but it is to difficult for the first act, so we have to wait for second act about it.
Anyway: He also again talks about the problem of what happens if the parants of a child die, what would happend to the child? Will it die of hunger?
@Tobitobsen why don´t you let the child dissappear if the player does not see it?
What would a child do, if his parents die? It would probalby look for some other familymembers, go away. So letting it dissappear would be a simple and reliable soulution about this problem I think.

Of course it doesn’t, the same like the children don’t starve today. Let’s be real, the kid gets snatched and put to use elsewhere, be it by church or rovers. It is 15th century Europe, after all.

On another note: Has the issue of elderly been already addressed?

So what about a Catholic priest coming, taking the little boy’s hand and walking with him away, beyond the boundaries of the game map (or taking kids into a cart, if there are more of them).

These are all Designquestions… and you know who is in charge about the design! :slight_smile: But I am pretty sure Dan will solve this problem somehow! :slight_smile:

Yes it is. It is a question about the design. And Dan is a very talented designer without question, can not imagine someone better than him and his team for a game like this.
But I ask myself what he don´t like about this disappearing-children solution. I know you make a very deep kind of gameplay, and nearly nothig is done mindlessly, so I am pretty sure you already discussed the disappearing-children solution. So I ask myself why he does not take this easy and reliable solution?
The only I can think about is, that he wanted to have an even better one and don´t want to determine himself in this topic and stay open for other solutions. But I am not sure, maybe he also sees another problem about this kind of solution, which I miss about it.

Thats true, there is more important stuff to do. An extensive 0.4 alpha had to be done till summer. ^^
